Full Yoshi system is defo my next purchase for the bike, sounds soooo much better. Love the one I had on my 250L, had lots of comments from people who didn't believe it was only a 250 from the noise it made.
I recently put the spark arrestor in my Yoshi, I think it definitely mellows it out a bit. Without it sounds badass but is a bit too much for riding longer periods of time. Really beautiful pipe though and with a Vortex completely changes the bike.
The straight insert really was barky. I didn’t spend much time with it. I made a custom insert with it instead. Should have a video up on what I did shorty
Wonderfull comparison and i have the same opinion as you.... i could be a littel bit more quiet... 5 - 6 db wouldnt be bad anyway in europe you can ride the Yoshi pipe legal on street... it doesn't have the necessary "E" sign to be legal ill stick with the stock pipe, its perfect quiet here where offroad riding is not legal ;-)
Ik a lot of people saying it’s not worth is for the money $1300 in all together but to have the nice bark to it and the extra power I think it’s worth it. Infact I’d add the rekluse auto clutch too even though it’s another $1300. But I’d ride it stock first for 2-3000kms then start playing.
Hi, i subscribed to your channel a week or two ago and find it to be a great CRF450L reference point of information. I am seriously considering one of these bikes. I had a Husky 701SM and found it too "wild" for my liking, (Old Man in the UK), I also once had a WR250 and found that was just flat. Is the CRF450L a good in between bike, or should I look elsewhere?
My gut reaction is you should check out the DRZ400. The 450 is a lot of machine. I have heard of some people putting a throttle tamer on it but at the end of the day its still a lot of power. A DRZ400 is very controllable stock and has a ton of mods you can do. I would try to ride one of those first and go from there
Dads Domain I had a DRZ 400 back in 2001. They haven’t been available new here in the UK for many years. All we have currently available new is the CRF250/450, KTM exc and equivilant Huskies. Our CRF is also 25hp restricted.
There is truth to that. I paid $550 for the full system which for a full four stroke system is a great deal. Dollar for dollar the vortex is the better money spent even though it’s $700. But man as a combo the power and personality change really add up. I wouldn’t return them if I could but it still wasn’t easy to spend the money either...
Yep, they technically can’t say it fits the L since it’s street legal but the L is the same motor as the X. Different ecu and exhaust is all. Bolts right up
Lol thanks man, I literally ordered both right after I asked the question anyway, the yosh is already on it now and the vortex will be here Tuesday. Can’t wait man!
That Yoshi sounds amazing on the 450L. Can't wait to own one someday!
I started it the other day and I'm ready to ride again, just listening to it was fun
@@DadsDomain Can't wait till the snow melts where I am. Ride safe!

If you enjoyed it on the 250l you’ll love it here. I think yoshi tends to be a little louder sometimes but the tone is great on the 450.
THANK YOU FOR THESE DETAILED VIDEOS ON THE CRF.

I really am surprised Yoshi doesn't sell a quiet insert. I honestly think a lot of people would pick that up as an extra accessory.

awesome comparison. thank you!
No problem, glad it’s helpful!
Thanks for the valuable info. Appreciated

My goodness that sounds amazing
The yoshi pipe sounds great!
It definitely makes the bike feel and sound like a 450!
What was your final settings on your vortex? Cheers
Man, for the money it cost, I'd stick with the stock exhaust !

Great video!
Thank you!
Thanks
Hey what’s up from Jersey, I just got a 19 450L and I’m interested on that exhaust system, is that for the X model, that fits the L?
Yep, they technically can’t say it fits the L since it’s street legal but the L is the same motor as the X. Different ecu and exhaust is all. Bolts right up
Yes it’s the X
- that you buy for the L
Dads Domain thank you... great vids 👍🏻
Hey have you tried different tire tubes? I'm trying to figure out what type of tubes to pair with the tusk tires I got thx
How did you get rid of the decel pop?
Cool really interesting
Thanks. It’s hard to capture the real in person sound but I hope it helps
Hey I have a question a crf110 with a FMF exhaust vs stock crf450l which is louder
I would have to assume the 110. The exhaust on the 450l stock is so quiet. What you are mostly hearing are engines sounds not a muffler stock
I’ve got that app and a crf110 with that pipe want me to post it for you guys
Great comparison, sounds great. Looks like they tar and feathered your street there. Not a big fan of that. I digress thanks for the video
No where near as popular as it used to be but ya it’s still done around there
Sound is like Special engine or nah with yoshi?
Is this just the slip on?
Was there a decent difference in power from stock to yosh with vortex?
It completely fixed the bike and woke it up across the entire rev range. Its expensive but ZERO regrets
Lol thanks man, I literally ordered both right after I asked the question anyway, the yosh is already on it now and the vortex will be here Tuesday. Can’t wait man!
Does this one melt the stock blinkers?
No that’s the FMF if you don’t use the quiet insert
