"normal" is redundant there. Murali was a wrist spinner whose stock ball spun from off to leg but wasn't bowled from back of the palm like a googly. So cricket described him as default 'off break'
This surely exposed his secret like ajantha Mendis .. but he gained trust of England cricketers for a Role as Future England bowling/spin coach after retirement 👌

Everybody knows these theories. But it is the ability of execution that makes someone star player.
Ajantha mendis was only about his carrom ball once that secret was out he was toothless, this guy always tries new things, with his variations, line and length wrist position that's why he has survived and thriving.
His palm and fingers are too long and strong , also so flexible, not every one can do what he does. But if you look at his body it is very fragile and he cannot take risk like Jaddu does. Each one is different.
One day when Ashwin becomes a commentator *he would be the best ever* I can listen to him all day speaking about cricket be it in any language TAMIL, HINDI OR ENGLISH
The pundits are clueless, they've never spun a ball in their lives, let alone spend months working on variations, they get it wrong all the time. Chances are Ashwin's spinning a web of lies anyway like Warne just to out fox the opposition. You can imagine the England team now with their analysts all watching this. You have to ask yourself how much of this is intended for the ears of the opposition and why would you give your game away? The bloke's a top bowler, skilled and very clever.
Nah man... The thing is... Like he said... No one can pick him because he is just that good... And its not easy to do all that for an opposition spinner either... So.. No harm in telling them the technicalities... Chances are... Only a few will ever master it.. 😂😂

The problem with the current lot is that they bowl superb deliveries, but throw away all the pressure created by dishing out rank full tosses and short deliveries. Ashwin and Axar won't give away those easy boundaries... The batters would need to take a risk. Thats the main difference... And when batters take risks, then wickets fall... Besides, Ashwin was invested upon and was given all opportunities to learn and grow. Moeen just played his 1st test in 2 years... As a result, Ashwin has already become a legend and Moeen hasn't accomplished that much....
Brilliant video, this guy gives India such a huge advantage over England. We have had a serious spin problem for the best part of a decade. Not only do we not have a mystery spinner but are struggling to find even a half decent finger spinner that can just land the ball consistently. In India if we lose the toss that will be game set and match before a ball is bowled. I am actually happy we have eve won a game. India are the best side in the world atm, no question.

He would be given a title sir if he born in England.... He found a technique which is compatible with his body... there were difference of opinion between Ashwin and the host... Ashwin was like do things which work for you regardless of technique and the anchor was insisting to stay by the book
WELL FROM PAST 2YRS LYON WAS AHEAD BUT NOW I CAN SAY ASHWIN IS BEST OFF SPINNER IJ THE WORLD NOW (BOWLED MASTERCLASS IN IND VS AUS 2021 AND IND VS ENG 2021)
He says for a youngster to understand but actually they want Ashwin to tell his variations so that they can understand
Out of all the “normal” finger spinners (I.e. excluding Murali), Ravi might be the best ever.
E=mc2 .....make a atom bomb for me

@@Shubham-ti5cd this is savage 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
I thought I knew about cricket before Ash spoke....
A future pundit; what a natural.
Too good... Awsome Ashwin!
Unplayable delivery.
1:58 that rough skin on his finger tells everything! Sheer hard work
Now I came to know why many people don't like him because he is genius.
Damn I didn’t knew someone can do this much PHD in spin bowling 😢
@@vivekkrishnan.r4289 We've got Jeetan Patel as our spin coach at the moment and he's previously said of England spinners "None of you practice enough", so that kind of matches up with what you're saying.
@@someblokecalleddave1 Yeah, but Graeme Swann was one of my favourites growing up... England has the potential to find someone like him. Because in India, spin rules... I mean... Club all Indian cricketers together and throw a stone randomly into the crowd.Chances are... You'll hit a spinner. 😅
@@vivekkrishnan.r4289 Yeah he was okay, what do you reckon his strength was? He kept it pretty basic, looked to me like a combination of being faster than most finger spinners, very accurate and keeping it simple (2 Variations)?
@@someblokecalleddave1 Accuracy mate.... He was extremely consistent with his line and length.
Moin Ali would make a decent spinner if given adequate training not to mention his batting skills are decent too 👍🏻
Commentator trying hard to gets some information but Anna is genius 😂😂😂
i saw this live, also commentator later said just after this, that even the analysts are not able to understand Ashwin.
Even if he explains every ball he bowls, even Kohli will find it hard to pick it considering he has played along with him for a long time. Absolute Masterclass.
He is slow poision to batsman. Great. Master mind
Most intelligent spin bowler of India..
The last one was epic. Drifting into the right hander which appears like a carrom ball from the front. Legend he is!!
this man has changed bowling actions as many times as Hugh Hefner has changed Playmates
Never thought there was so much science involved in run up /jump / grip / action and release . Fascinating 👍
That's Ashwin's long answer for "Poda dai"...
A master of spin
He masked his technique more with words than when he bowled I believe.
