He should be in our T20 squad
In south people give importance to education it is so good to see.
Absolutely

@Saurav Narresh Mumbaikars never boast about being high class. You learn to mind your own business and work really hard. Most of the hardworking cricketers come from Mumbai.
The very fact that you have commented 4 times to prove a point shows your bias.
Shivkumar Iyer both sides are right ,we all are Indians first .
Ashwin is perhaps the finest orator and educated cricketer in our team. Another was kumble, the legend.
Nishant and he idolizes him as well.

Such a educated mom and dad, ashwin lucky to have such parents.
Even if the parents are not educated, they always work hard for the betterment of kid's life. My mom didn't go to school at all, but I am grateful to her for the life what I have today :)

Ashwin never gives a sec break while taking.. So it's other way 😂😂😂
He's best spinner of this decade, but donno why he treated like this 😔 he deserves way more respect, such humble and intellectual guy
Ashwin deserves 100% of what he has achieved and he is well positioned to do more! Such a great ambassador of the game, see him in the cricket hall of fame
Not a single slot in team India can be taken for granted. Each guy in team India will have his story on great struggle to reach the final 11.

Who's here after the SCG test match ?
here!
After 2-1 series win.
After Kumble the biggest match winner in Tests for India. Respect !
What about Harbhajan Singh? I mean he too has won us a lot of matches!
He is intelligent and should have been the face of Indian cricket.
When Kxip made him captain in 2018, we all thought it redeem his career but it backfired badly. Last year the Butler run out incident (which was legally right) didnt go down too well with the fans and got him a transfer to Delhi.
But all said and done he has proved that he is one of most hard working of cricketers and always tries to evolve with time. Hope he helps India win an overseas test match in SENA some day.
He has the most brilliant cricketing brain. 365 test wickets, 4 test centuries 11 test fifties... Come on... Why people are ignoring these facts.... The word 'underrated' is itself underrated in his case...
Yes your wish has come true...
These kind of interviews can easily make viewers wonder why he is not in the team. So much love for this sport.
Justin Langer rightly said:
In a country of 1.3 billion , every person who gets selected to playing 11 must be a great fighter.
Those 11 places in indian cricket team has great stories &
Great sacrifices
Man, I got teary-eyed watching this 💜
Woman, I got teary-eyed watching this too.

Why? Were you chopping onions?
Those lines from his parents bought tears to my eyes.
Omg! These interviews are so inspirational. Wow man Ashwin is the most intelligent cricketer I have ever heard. I think we might look at him as the one of the great commentators as well.
I will always miss Ravichandran Ashwin on ODI and T20.
Not only Ravi his parents are also fluent in English. I can pay to listen to them for hours.
His father's name is Ravi!
He is just Ashwin!

Great to see ashwin's parents being so supportive and giving him good education.
A great coach in making.
Very sweet. I have come across lot of videos. But I can say one thing that Ashwin's wife and Bhuvneshwar's wife both are very very down the earth and pretty as well.
Even if he is not player of Indian team , I will admire him because he is genuinely good person. This is how we should behave , not exaagreting dramatise like other cricketrs.
Wow loved this so much. Leading wicket taker this decade but so so humble. Credit goes to his parents. Wish he gets more success. Not many give back to the game, but Ashwin doing this for the young children is so inspiring. His story is so motivational and inspiring❤️😌
That's just awesome. My respect for Ashwin have increased many folds. Trust me I don't know how quickly 27:07 minutes passed.
Sadly Ashwin is not being handled by Kohli up to optimum level. He is still a better choice than Washington Sundar in limited over format. Remember he is fastest to 250 wickets
And also most international wicket in last decade

What a guy!! A huge underachiever, I just hope he keeps playing for the nation!!
I thoroughly enjoyed the interview....including family in the interview made it quite insightful.
Watching this after Ashwin crossed the 500 wickets milestone - his 501st was special too exemplifying his character as he returned to the match after leaving it midway for a family emergency.
With his Mom so much involved in making him not just a cricketer but a legend at that, it was only fair for him to be with her. No surprise that she perhaps asked him to resume !
Great cricketer and human 👏! Go on and break Kumble's record and aim for atleast 5000 runs too !! All the best

Ashwin a great competitor, listening to your parents with regard to your upbringing is ultimate, Wishing you and your family good health and success...
Such a humble personality. Excited to see him in tests and hoping for his comeback in the limited overs format as well. Take a bow R Ashwin 🙌
The normalcy of the family is something everyone regardless of whether they have a sports player amongst themselves relates to. Ashwin is such a well spoken person; I think he's going to have a better post cricketing career although I do wish him a long cricketing life.
One of the best interviews I've ever watched of a sportsperson. It had all the elements to make it an incredible interview ranging from the life journey, emotions, family, the struggle & so much more. Thanks Cricbuzz team

Oh yeah flat track bully
@@jugshekhawat5785 Flat track bully? Df he has a hundred in Antigua which is one of the toughest to bat on. And yeah, Your cricketing knowledge must be immense for you to term a genuine off spinner as a 'flat track bully' . Do you even realize that it's used for batsmen more on often ?
This guy, who wanted to be an opening batsman, lost his slot in under 14 team, got injured, took time off, in that time lost his opening slot, and due to injury lost the dream of becoming a fast bowler and choose to be an off-spinner.
And then went on to become the best off-spinner in the world for quite some time, and came to be regarded as one of the best ever, along with the number one ranked all-rounder.
This is a story that pushes me to win in life, from no matter what situation.
This video was recommended by youtube after Ashwin's 400 wickets.
One of the very few cricketers i truly admire!
Ashwin is the reason we have won so many test matches in past 6-7 years, disheartening to see why he is not being picked in Odi's and t20's, the story which her mom told reminded me of the attitude and patience that Ashwin showed us yesterday against Australia at SCG, not able to stand a day before and playing for 21+ overs, Hats off legend🙌
Very humble person... Inspirational...
Ohh my God brilliant family.. This is inspirational :)
Great story.. so real and sincere... great family support to a great respectful son who is not a very humble man. who is making a very good role model for young players. I can relate to many things there about playing on street, tennis ball cricket, u14,16 and 19 and then first class cricket, the struggle and the passion, But big Well-done to his Dad to be there for him to help him to be who he is today
Wow what a lovely family. It shows our beautiful Indian culture.
He is the most underrated Indian bowler even though he achieved alot in his career. He was not treated and managed well by the Indian Cricket
One hell of an awesome interview!!!
