I feel you. I’m a single dad of two toddlers through foster to adopt. My daughter came first at two weeks old, and we bonded immediately. Her bio brother came a year and a half later at two weeks old, and the dynamics had shifted, and I didn’t have the same bandwidth/time to spend one on one with him, so our bonding process was different. Two years later, we are good! I panicked for a while because I thought I was a horrible dad due to my supposed inability to bond. I had to allow things to unfold in their own time, and they did!
I also dream of being a father. I still don't know for sure if I'll be able to generate a descendant or adopt, but that doesn't make much difference to me, because I'm sure that in either of the two possibilities I would exercise my parenthood in the best way. But to adopt in my country, especially for a single man, is extremely bureaucratic. But I don't lose faith that one day I will fulfill my dream of being a father. When that day comes, I will do my best, to educate, care, watch over, and be more than a father, but a best friend, a safe haven in a child's life.

Don't know why utube put that in my "recommended" and felt I needed to see that but am glad it did. Utube is really fantastic. You are also a great storyteller and explainer because you keep it real 100%, and you speak very well. However, in this video, I was confused about something: U didn't explain that ur baby momma has a "wife" and is gay too(?) Initially I thought jazmine was a lonely straight woman living in Atlanta (and there are TONS of these in that city) who found you attractive and may have wanted a relationship (in addition to the child) but had to settle for just a child. Next, after the baby is born, you jump to saying that she is living in L.A with a "wife". There was no explanation. So, is she gay too, and was this a consideration in deciding to have a daughter? Also, were the tons of problems inherent with long distance parenting considered, or did she blindside you moving to other side of country? Another possible topic you can discuss in your channel is the complex dynamics of the family. Was the other baby daddy in a similar situation as you in contributing to 2 other daughters? Was Jaz already in a relationship with her wife when she inked your contract? Another possible topic for your channel is discussing your move to Atlanta. In your video about coming out I got the impression you were in Tampa. Didn't mean for this post to be so long, but I am digging you channel and stories and, as they say, "enquiring minds want to know" "The rest of the story". Hey I really dig your honesty. I went through similar shit to you when my mum passed and the narcisstic abuse from a cult system accompanied by the same at work. So I hit a gym and got into meditation big time and your vibe is so similar to the guys at my gym - and I love it - so down to earth and no BS and humble! I love you man! Take good care

Here’s a secret....a lot of women don’t feel that instant connection either...especially if the mother had a very hard pregnancy emotionally, physically, financially and psychologically. It takes time for the mother to establish a bond too. The most important thing is to continue to provide the baby its basic needs until that bond is formed.
