I was thinking of an old black&white B movie I saw from the late 50's where a poor Puerto Rican family moved into a slum NYC neighborhood that was dominated by PR gangs, & the look & feel of the movie was similar with the look & feel of this video now. With shots of city life scenes with 50's rock or jazz, shown between the situations & scenes these people were going thru.
