Did you ever find out, why those Lipos were not entirely charged? I have the same problem with the Phantom. On all four of my brand new 3s Lipos I get a Battery < Full warning freshly charged the same day... And, does the XT30 plug near the VTX antenna interefere with the video feed? On my phantom the plug came zip-tied to the side of the flight stack. It's a PITA to connect the Lipo there and taking care the props don't scratch the cables. I am just afraid the cables and connectors of the Lipo interfere with the VTX antenna if I power connect like on your model of the Phantom.
Okay, I got everything set up, right now. Zip-tieing the power connector to the tail, like you did, makes attaching the Lipos so much more convenient. The VTX antenna does just fine like that. I fumbled in the Power & Battery tab in Betaflight as well and adjusted the scale value in the Voltage Meter section up to 112. Now the battery"s voltage in the OSD is displayed more correctly, though I wasn't able to get it nailed down 100%. But it is close enough that way. I switched to the Runcam Racer Nano and it's a difference of night and day. I highly recommend this - little bit pricey - cam.
I think I most likely just got the batteries switched around while charging. However smal batteries like this do loose a lot of charge while sitting so if you want to get the most out of them definitely charge just before you go out. If you loose 0.1V that's ok, it won't really impact the flight time. If your voltage sensor always says batt < full then you might want to recalibrate it inside of Betaflight. Measure the battery with a multimeter or a reliable charger and then change the tune inside Betaflight until they match. As for the interference problem it definitely effect it to some degree but it isn't a problem for me at least. I would prefer wiring it in the back like that just to get the most neat solution and minimise prop strikes. Hope that helps! Happy flying!
C c yes! I would say that! It really flies amazing! No other thoothpick I’ve flown comes close! However it comes with the cost of 3s batteries and a heavy thoothpick for not having HD video.
Great looking micro. How does this fly on 2s? I've got a ton of 1s batteries and I wonder how this would fly with 2-1s 550mah batteries linked together.
I haven't actually used it on 2s. But since it is so heavy I would definitely recommend 3s. I have another quad with the same size motors that I fly on 2 1s batteries however that drone weighs only 56g, this one weighs 81g so I don't really expect it to fly very good on 2s. Especially considering that the tiny-whoop ph2 connectors is such a bottleneck. So to summarise it will of course work but if you want to get the most out this quad definitely buy some 3s packs. Hope that helps. Happy flying!
@@dronexsweden6906 OK I didn't Look at the Page. Well, by the way I Just noticed that in a punchout you would probably lose Voltage really quick so this is not optimal
Carson Light_Lapse Thanks for the feedback! I wanted it to feel a bit raw and unedited so I opted for no music but I’ll definitely consider it in the future!
I have one of these and it flies amazing for the size. I am switching from the large and expensive 5" quads to all sub 250 quads and loving it!
Yeah, I totally agree with you! I have done the same. I only fly sub 250 these days, it's just way more convenient!
Looks like a beast 🔥🤘
Hey dronex, for your mobula7 conversion you can check out the caddx and lite (very light and just as good if not better than the eos2)

Some say this is the best flying toothpick. What do you think after having it for a while?

You can custom build some cables Like in the mobula but make it Double so you have 4 batteries to Plug in
Yeah that's true. I wouldn't connect more than 3 though considering that's what they recommend on the product page.

@@vornamenachname3847 Yeah true that. The ph2 connector is definitely sub-optimal.
The intro is very attractive,
But then the lack of music makes it feel dull
Nice flying tho 👌
