  • $100 Craps Challenge is a challenge from Let It Roll, a craps youtube channel, where we see what we can do with a $100 bankroll and only 36 rolls of the dice. In this $100 Craps Challenge I play aggressive and go with a $32 across place bets and after 3 hits remove $15 from the outside numbers securing a profit for the shooter. Will I win money or end up busting my bankroll?

EXACTLY what I thought! Reminds me of the last time I played blackjack. The damn dealer would get 20 or blackjack almost EVERY hand, with players getting bust hands > 50% of the time...totally against the odds! A shoe rich in face cards remaining meant they were just for the dealer or for the players' FIRST card. Knowing a lot about probability and being non-superstitious, I kept at it... lost everything!

New to the game but this video illustrates the importance of remaining INACTIVE on the come out roll. Your looking to string together long sequence without a 7, the come out allows you to hit those 7s and be protected from them. Most long runs seem to involve hitting 7 on the come (but not being "on")

I was very interested in this video because I’m a $100 player. I play $5 PL w/1 unit odds, and 1 unit 6 and 8 unless the point is 6 or 8. If the point is 6/8 I put 2 units odds. After 1 hit on place bets to recoup my I initial bet on the place bets I start to press and collect. It’s a grind but I’ve scored a few times doing it.

I don't think I would ever want to be working on the come out roll. I hit it a lot on the pass line. I wait until the point is established and then place my 6 & 8. Wait a few rolls, see how it feels and then spread out or increase odds on my pass line bet depending on what the point is.

    Dice advice: 33max
Start with 6 and 8 at 12 only hit 6 or 8 press both one unit (18) hit again drop 3 dollars press again to 30 hit one more time drop 5 and place the outside numbers for 10. Then if hit that point just press one unit and collect the rest or place it on the DC (dark side hedge)

    • @ColorUp

Probability wise, doesn't make a difference. If working and 7 rolls you lose, If bets off, and other numbers roll you miss out on win...come out roll or next roll the 7 shows 1 in 6 times. That being said, anytime your bets are off, you are "saving" money.

Was up $15 when I got the dice. Placed 2 units on the 5/6/8 1 unit on the 4/9/10 and $6 on the field (basically iron cross but with single units on the 4/9/10). Press up for 6 rolls and then pull down to the table minimum. Had a decent roll (low-mid teens I think) and walked away with $220.

If I was playing with short money ($100), I'd probably be working the Don't. If for social reasons I felt compelled to bet Right, I'd start with $12 on the 6+8 after the Come Out. Reason- I like having 10 combinations against 6 and it gives me a shot at 4 shooters not 3.
If a 6 or 8 hits then go to 22 inside. I will have only $10 at risk from my bankroll and 18 combinations covered.
If another number hits, pull it all down and I start with the next shooter with only $3 at risk from the bankroll.
With at least on hit per shooter I can double the amount of shooters before the bankroll gives out.
    "Your results may vary." :-)

  • @JP-uu2rw

One thing about dice. I don't know if its been a topic but if I am on a hot streak and throw and a die goes off the table , I will ask for that die back because invariably it seems if when I get a new pair of dice from the dealer I roll a seven. My father was a hardcore gambler back in the days when Vegas was not run by corporations My father was in Vegas every weekend and financed his business for years with markers from Caesars, basically credit from the casino . In 1966 at Caesars Palace, opening weekend, 3 years before I was born, my father and 5 other people were at a craps table on a 20 plus hour winning streak, between all of them they probably were up several hundred thousand dollars and then out of nowhere, "maintenance" came down saying they needed to inspect an air vent which meant picking up the craps table and moving it 5 or 6 feet and once that had happened everyone lost their ass. Superstition is legitimate . I think Casinos, know this and interrupting the play was clearly intentional

    • @ColorUp

    • @ColorUp

The challenge was about what can you do in only 36 rolls, so I had my bets working to maximize the use of each roll. Im hoping to avoid the 7 on every one of my 36 rolls, so I have them working to hopefully win and not let a roll go by. Also avoided the pass line, as thats a roll that if a number rolls, im missing out on a win. If I new a come out roll of 7 would happen I would have made a pass bet :)

Love your videos J! However you seam to roll allot of 7’s! I am not a fan of BT but he seams to be able to avoid 7’s. What’s your take on his dice rolling methods? I see quite a few people rolling after setting the dice to specific numbers. If it works and if the casino doesn’t say anything, why not?
I’d be interested in seeing you try some of his methods such as the 3/2 - 5/4 set. At least if I see you roll that way I’ll know it’s legit. For some reason BT doesn’t instill confidence in me to actually try these types of rolls.
Thanks for all your great videos!

    • @ColorUp

Well some of my videos have very long rolls. The longest roll recorded was a random rolling grandma. If it worked you better believe the casino would say something. I don’t know BT, but enjoyed his videos. My stance, it doesn’t hurt to try.

$32 across is probably too much of a reach for $100 bankroll. You hit a high of $128, and ended with $15.
I ran your dice roll numbers with a constant $22 inside. I hit a high of $121, and ended with $44.
You had seven 7's in 26 rolls, so can't really judge better or worse with either strategy.
