You probably want to add brakes to your minibike! The Flintstones was only a cartoon. All joking aside, on a little bike like that, once you start dealing with drivers like that, as much as you might have had right-of-way, you just have to slow down and let them get far enough ahead to see what nonsense they will be trying next. Just like that right-hand turn, sans turn signal! Better to be alive than exercising your right of way.

In all my years of riding, which are many, I've never felt the need to confront an automobile driver or smash a mirror.
Just let it go, it's very freeing.

Actually, (yes he's an idiot), but he waved to tell the dude "passing" to get back. The guy in the car was on his tail. Other than this, you can see the lane split into two, so the car kinda had the right of way. The car was in the wrong lane to pass, though.
@@Josh-ky4hr All the more reason to ride sane and not gesture at other road users. Our POV was 3 ft away from this guys hands and people still misinterpreted. It's easy to see how the driver, being much farther away, could have similarly misinterpreted.
The lane ends and the car being ahead of the bike merges into the lane and the guy on the bike decides I better let the car know that he was wrong and I was right, by riding in the oncoming lane of traffic. Yup that makes you right huh? Hard to prove your point when your dead but oh well.

But seeing as how I did not know that the clip took part in Florida, I was wrong about that for that specific state. I’m not from the U.S. originally, and I was going based off of what I know by personal experience from my home country.

All I did was look for a license plate and saw it was Florida. It wasn't rocket science.
I'm not from the US either, and in my country (Canada) it is verboten. Scooters, mini-bikes, e-bikes, etc. If they're on the road they obey the rules and take up a lane.
Every few weeks I cruise through "moto" type videos and respond to dozens of uploads and commenters. Most uploads are from children whining about not being allowed to own the road, and some commenters are a bit out of touch.

I was the one in the video yelling at her after she wrecked. This was a casual Sunday twisty ride. Before the footage started she passed us all wrecklessly, got inches away from my back tire multiple times while I was going the speed limit, was yelling at us, and then finally passed me only leaving a couple inches between us. So no, I don’t give a shit that she went 80mph into a 30mph bend and wrecked.
@@jackgudritz9376 why not show that bit? All we see is a crazy overtake by the biker on solid yellow on a blind summit which then triggers the truck driver who obviously and stupidly wanted to make a point. Both sets of people caused that accident and you all laughed and rode off!

I don’t believe there is any more footage of what happened prior, like I said it was an uneventful casual twisty ride and we didn’t expect any sort of crazy instances. We weren’t battling with the truck, she passed us all recklessly. We all kept our distance until she slowed down under the speed limit, so that’s when the bike pass happened and she decided to go off the rails. I’ve been hearing everything from these “experts” and what they would have done in this situation. But none of these people who have something to say were even there and truly don’t know how it went down.

I will say in my opinion a good bit of the bikers I see in these videos are over reacting, ofcourse there are things that are reasonable to put on here, but I feel like "car stops 100ft away and your going 15mph, and you slow to 5mph, and flip him off 20 ft away", that's what a lot of these come off as to me.

Hi Niklas, you're right! I was going too fast and that was wrong. On the other hand, the road where I was riding was a 60km/h road. I ride that road every day to school, and most cars go 70 to 80 km/h there, so did I. The thing is, that the driver didn't look. When he was pulling out on the road he was facing the other way, and considering (according to the basic traffic rules) he should've looked my direction! That way he would have seen me and wouldn't have pulled out in front of me.

Actually no you are not meant to use your indicators when going around parked cars. The reason being it makes people think you are turning when really you are going straight on.
Not sure if it's the same where you're from. But here by me, you don't have to if it's a one-way single lane road, but as soon as you add more lanes you have to indicate going around a parked vehicle. Just saying that it might be road rule where the video was taken that you need to indicate such actions

Why do some people act like their kids have been murdered when a vehicle overtakes them, they get into an angry state and have to "rights the wrongs" so they are back in front. I couldn't care less if another vehicle breaks a speed limit or overtakes on a yellow line, it doesn't affect my progress and if they want to break the laws then that's upto them, eventually they will do it at the wrong time and suffer repurcusions for their actions.... the person in the last clip put themselves and other road users in danger by driving like an idiot after the biker and "getting revenge" which will eventually cost them thousands in repair bills or insurance premiums.

Yes, it's a hit and run if you are involved in an accident and flee the scene. And in this case it's also criminal damage, maybe even assault. If the biker is caught, he will be in serious trouble. Sadly the guys who ride like bloody morons usually also take pains to make their license plate very hard to read.

As someone whose gon to busco beach, theres specifc rules on racing and donuts. Especially on the race track, they keep the sand flattened and he was causing ruts. Ive been to busco the day 2 people died racing and flipping right after.

I can understand why private property owners would be upset. If you get injured on their property they can be held liable. So I disagree with the riders that were driving dangerously on private property.
