This is a great comparison…thank you for doing these! To my ears the Lotus seems to have the most secure slotting, and definitely has a “pop” to the notes. Probably due to the 37 style bell. Doesn’t sound as stuffy as a 37 though. I really dig it. I love the harmonics that jump out of the AR. It has my favorite tone out of the 3. The Bohme obviously has the wider bell sound. It’s not my preference here, but it sounds like it plays very free and easy. I’d play any of these, but price to performance, I’m really into the Lotus.
As others have said, you can make any horn sound good. That said, altough all three instruments are great, I'm wondering if the Lotus doesn't have a slight edge in terms of clarity of sound. But again, beautiful trumpets all.
Tumultus my first pick for tone quality...AR, nice for superb articulations...Lotus is just an in your face horn, if that's what you're looking for. Comments are from my personal observations, not everyone's opinion. 🙏
Loved the 'Skylark' segment at the end. I liked the Bohme overall, thunking it has quicker response and a clearer overall sound. I liked the AR overtones and timbre, making it very interesting to listen to and almost flugelish on the last demo (more than the other 2). The Lotus was a little thuddy to my ears with no overtones. It wasn't a bad sound by any means, but not as enjoyable to me as the other 2 because it sounded monochromatic to me.
Be sure to click the links in the video description for all the details of these awesome horns! Happy Brassgiving!
Thanks!
IMO the Lotus sounded the best, especially on the lead playing.

Nice video. Lotus, Böhme, AR. Yep that's what I heard. Love and Respect to you from dB.
Lotus trumps all to me. So very resonant.
The sound and playability of Bohemia is uniquely rich and colorful.
All three are amazing for sure! Thanks for watching!
Love the colors from the Lotus in the classical sound
Lot of work done. Appreciated thank you.
You sound great on all of them, but you seem the most at home on the Tumultus.
For me…Tumultus > Lotus > AR Resonance.
For me its Böhme > Lotus > AR

can't wait! great idea
In this video Nr.1 Böhme, Nr. 2 Lotus, Nr. 3 AR
agree!!!

Bohme all day!!!
I must to decide between Adams A2 and Tumultus M bell. Like to know which one is more comfortable and easier to play for extension sessions.

I recently got a Lotus trumpet and was quite disappointed. It felt like it came out of tank manufacturing facility....

The Lotus does it for me.
I recently bought a Couesnon flugelhorn. The Marcinkowitz mp is too deep. On trumpet, I like my Bach 3c. Can you make a recommendation?
How would The Thane performance series hold up against those horns? Lotus vs thane video...just though I'd ask.
Totally different. If the horn has a maw block. It's slightly similar to the AR
Hey I would like to see a mouthpiece review on the MV3 trumpet mouthpiece, would be appreciated.
We have tons of mouthpiece reviews on our channel. Run a search and you will find some 😎
@@austincustom I have looked at almost all of your mouthpiece reviews, they are all very helpful. Although I just didn't quite find that one.
@@thatoneguynooneknows8187 we don't make a Mv3. We do make a mv3c which is featured on literally hundreds of videos here.
@@austincustom Huh, it says an option on the website is Mv3 (Your take on and old New York 3) with a Mount Vernon rim.
@@thatoneguynooneknows8187 it's just the 3. I should know. I make them.
Lotus Lotus Lotus 😀
