The holiday is Ostara the Goddess of spring and the story goes a little girl is walking threw the woods and finds a baby bird half frozen on the earth and she knows this is the celebration of Ostara and calls to the Goddess and she appears and touches the bird once and the little girl is not satisfied and so the Goddess touches the bird again and it is transformed into a rabbit and every year the rabbit lays Eggs. It has nothing to do with christianity.🪄💫💥✨🐇🐰🤔✨. Bless your gingerbread hearts 🎃

It's like the holiday was changed from jesus resurrection to a bunny laying eggs and candy inside of them. Its basically like a bunch of 9 year olds wanting more candy

I am not smart. Matthew 12:40... For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
3days and 3 nights...even if Jesus was buried on the same Good Friday in which he was crucified...Friday to Saturday=1 day. Saturday to Sunday =2days. Sunday to Monday =3days. So why is the resurrection celebrated on Sunday? 🤔

      Passover is for Jews
Easter is for us Christians who celebrates Christ resurrection on this day † and it's biblical
If you're a Jew then whatever anyway....

@@KarmaKraftttt Where does Easter come from? I can't find it in the Bible. Passover is when the blood of the lamp was marked on the door, so that death passed over, the lamp that was slained (Jesus). After that come the feast of Firstfruits (Jesus) as the Firstfruits rose from the dead. Why Christians don't celebrate God's Feast, when God clearly says(Leviticus 23:2) , this are My Feasts? Since Jesus was a Jew, how do you come to your conclusion? One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.
      Exodus 12:49 KJV
      - One law for All, it is repeated so many times.

@@franwern519 I can't see the word "Bible" in the Bible either. Lol You're talking like a Muslim. There's a reason why we call it "OLD" TESTAMENT. Christ fulfilled the old testament so following old testament is like still waiting for the Messiah which would be a blasphemy. Cause Christ has already came and saved humanity. We are Christians we live in the New Testament not in the Old dude are you trolling?

@@KarmaKraftttt Easter is a pagan cult. But most importantly you seems to believe in Jesus. However you also seems not to understand or don't care about the old testament. The Bible says the law of God is perfect. Jesus himself fulfilled the law, he actually is the law. The Pharisee could not find any wrong. By the way, what does a bunny, painting of eggs etc. have to do with Gods holy Feast?

Bunnies has nothing to do with resurrection although somewhat eggs are. However don't ask me. Bunnies are for americans. And they're mostly atheists so I don't care what they do. Also I don't care about your personal opinions about holy scripture. Besides council of Jerusalem already established that Christians don't need to follow Jewish customs. Read Acts 15 for further details.
For Christ is the end of the law for the justification of everyone who has faith. (Romans 10:4)
Before faith came, we were held in custody under law, confined for the faith that was to be revealed.
Consequently, the law was our disciplinarian for Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a disciplinarian.
For through faith you are all children of God in Christ Jesus.
      (Galatians 3:23-26)
