I HIGHLY suggest that you put rubber anti slip pads between the table and concrete. If that’s tempered glass there is a risk it make shatter unexpectedly on its own.
Cinder blocks usually make any living space look like a college dorm, but your addition of the smaller glass level, plus the complementary art piece brings it all together with class.
I love it, and the black improved it a lot in my opinion, then you totally blew it out of the box by adding that second shorter table with glass from your bar cart! I love it!

Also ya may want to look into flat rubber stopper things to cushion the glass on top of the block…someone sets a beer or cup or anything down too hard boom shatter glass EVERYWHERE! And it most likely won’t shatter in big pieces it’ll be like it’s raining tiny shards of glass everywhere maybe even explode everywhere in some cases.
It's just set on top of it. It's not like he's sliding it back and forth. The glass is definitely pretty heavy as well so it wouldn't be moving around on it's own. It probably isn't scratched at all or is scratched very little

Use a little rubber piece, you can find them in Walmart for like door protection or sometimes floor protection. You can put them on the bottom of the glass/ or top of the blocks to help prevent scratches.

Just really smart! Reusing the glass for the smaller table adds another layer to make the table more sculptural and makes it look like it's a focus piece instead of just some concrete blocks you found in the trash!
The world looks completely different when you have children, and this video is an example of a time where I feel like I live on an alien planet where everyday life is foreign to the point of bewilderment. Love the cinder block touch. Would be an instant disaster in my home. At least I can get my deductible paid for.
Think about putting shelf liner (the hole version type) on top of the blocks to protect the glass from getting scratches and to also help with staying secure on the blocks. The liner can be spray painted the color of the blocks.
I think the plain ones looked nice. You give the whole vibe of beachside city skate shop. Like you have an open apartment studio with old boards and you free skate on the streets and have a street cone decor
