I moved to a new school this year. I had these two girls in my class, and thought they were best friends. They would always sit together, play together, and do pretty much everything together. One of them was quiet, and the other was obnoxiously loud. Through the months, people would tell me stories about those two. The quiet girl was respected by everyone, but never talked in class nor to anyone. The obnoxiously loud one was disliked by pretty much everybody because of past actions. For example, saying the n-word, spreading rumours, lying to teachers about other students, etc. Recently the quiet girl stopped being friends with her. She seems a lot more happy, and is always talking to more people. She would say that her “best friend” manipulated her many times and never let her make her own decisions. That’s why she barely spoke. Anything she said was either “wrong” or “stupid”, according to the loud girl.
Did we go to the same school? Because I remember there were these two friends, One quiet and one loud. They went everywhere together, sat everywhere together and did everything together. I got a little suspicious though because people were spreading rumors on how the loud girl was toxic. So, I decided to try and be friends with them but my plans went awry when the loud girl gatekeeped the quiet one and didn't allow me to be their friend, but it didn't stop there. I was in the same history class with her which the loud girl didn't take that class. So we began chatting and became secret-friends-ish. I started asking her about the loud girl but she wouldn't answer or she would just reply with "She nice.", "I can have other friends." or "Leave me alone." then it started becoming really weird, She won't answer my calls, Ignored me and when I would talk to her she would make a snarky remark. I started to take the same bus as her and started watching the two girl's behaviour. I soon realized that the loud one would gaslit her and insult her. After a few months of this happening I confronted her and told her it wasn't healthy, A month later she seemed way happier and talks to everyone. We're still friends to this day even!

I just noticed, not only does the circle become darker, but each girl's clothes clothes get progressively darker and lighter. Sara's getting brighter as she grows into someone who learns to respect herself. And Jenny's darker as she becomes less popular and unimportant (to her peers) over the years. (Also Sara takes on what Jenny's hairstyle used to look like somewhat, but also makes it her own.)
Can I just talk about how during the entire video even when Sarah changes her style they both stay true to their style preferences? I love it!! Jenny mostly has ponytails, buns, and open hair with classy and a type of "mature" clothing style while Sarah keeps her hair short and in ponytails while wearing more modern and simple clothing. Beautiful!!

This is realistic and true. Some childhood friendships or friendships in general would start off decently but as time moves on the tiny specks of toxicity will increase by both time and aging and end up ruining the friendship. I had this relationship before but my popular friend kept talking behind my back. I had pretty good hearing and I knew a lot due to the amount of book knowledge I stored in my brain.
Exactly. The friendship goes really well in elementary, and everyone gets along. When middle school and high school starts, the nicest people and friendships start to change and become more toxic since popularity starts mattering more. Yk, coming to this comment know, you’re pretty right. I had this friend in 5th grade, we were pretty close I’d say, we’d always hang out with one of our other friends and we just like a trio. Anyway, once 6th grade began, he was totally different. He was rude to me and was being super inappropriate as well as being racist to some of my classmates as well. This is pretty weird too, cause I was actually quite popular in my class and my grade overall since I’d gotten the highest awards in the entire grade with only 3 other six graders. So me and those 3 other sixth graders got the highest grades in the entire 6th grade overall for that school year. No one else was really that mean to me and I’d made lots of friends. I was never quite sure why he’d changed, but I was also not quite sure why it didn’t affect me much considering how close we were previously. Something like that should’ve hurt, but it didn’t. Not sure why.

im on none of their sides. my explanation: it does seem as if jenny developed a toxic behavior over time, which really hurt sarah. they were seen as separate people unlike before when they were seen as the same people and even better as best friends. but i think sarahs communication seemed poor and jenny likely wouldve changed what she says of sarah if she realized sarah didnt like it. though, most toxic friends jumo right into the habit again after getting comfortable again. jenny also seems like she meant all that jokingly. sarah during college is popular, unlike jenny. she takes this moment to embarrass jenny when jenny is called fat. she i think told a few of jennys secrets, and along with that fat shames her. sarah knew what she was doing, but i cant blame her for wanting revenge. jenny says nothing. though i dont think anything would change what sarah was doing. in all, both of their sides were toxic.

Let me explain: -So, You both are inseparable for a very long time, although, one is famous, one is just a "sidekick" among what people people think of them. They care about each other but soon years later they start to be more distant, because Jenny became more popular and Sara(h) might have gone a bit jealous and they grew more and more distant. -Jenny started to never really care for Sara(h) because she was liking the fame. Sara(h) then got even more distant with Jenny. The 2 have grown after 12th grade and suddenly Sara(h) took a turn in the spotlight whist Jenny was busy some where else. -They were still together to college but Sara(h) still got more popular since right after 12th grade. Now Jenny had a taste on how it feels to be a "sidekick" in the friendship. The people that were badmouthing Jenny did not care or did not know their friendship. Sara(h) had step out her shade and BECAME Jenny's personality. -In the end, Jenny felt Sara(h)'s pain. I had a friendship like that, we were both nerds at first, she was naturally unpopular and I just lost most of my friends and we became besties, at middle school she unintentionally spread rumors about me but I was so lonely I didn't cut off. Now at covid she ghosted me for around half a year to be with some other nerdy girls she looked good with while I changed my hobbies, looks and behavior in high-school, the last straw was when my parents split up, not only she was the only one who left me for her new friends but lied to me to do that, while I literally could've take a bullet or drown for her and was with her by my side for years. This is practically exactly the story of my ‘sister’ and I. We met at church 6 years ago, and instantly clicked, although she was 4 years older than me. But she was always more mature, and felt so confident that she always left me out thinking I was ‘too young and immature to play’. We moved in together, and I was the top student in my class. But she started guilt tripping me to skip class. She ended up dragging me into her ‘hole’, and got out of it a few years later. Now idk what to do.. I’ve given her atleast 100 chances, but she always messes up. Until I decided to end things with her. Her mom is always saying I made a mistake dropping her, but I know I didn’t.

*SPOILERS* I honestly feel bad for Jenny since looking at the little details while she was “insulting” Sarah (a little more like teasing), she wasn’t taking it seriously. Meanwhile, when Sarah was talking to others (basically the scene where they called Jenny fat), She took it as a serious insult and lead Jenny to tears. And when Jenny was “insulting” Sarah, she took it as a joke. I think this shows how Sarah didn’t really pay attention to Jenny’s feelings after she became popular.
Honestly, I feel more sorry for Jenny than for Sarah. It can be really trying being in a friendship where the other person is constantly horrible, but when someone is fat shaming or being rude to someone, whether they’re your friend or not you aren’t supposed to join in.

Chances are, a lot of us can relate to their story. Its sad, but it’s probably true, toxic friendships/relationships are incredibly common nowdays.. If you find yourself with a person who genuinely cares about you, and has NEVER been toxic to you, then treat them with kindness. Because chances are, thats gonna be the only non-toxic friend for a very long time.

This is the most well-made one imo. The way that the circle darkens for each time their relationship gets less close, It's a really good way to display that. Not only did the video making process take long, but it also displayed real toxic friendships which are very easy to find in this world we live in, even I have been in lots.
Luckily enough, I was able to find new and loyal besties.
This is realistic and true. Some childhood friendships or friendships in general would start off decently but as time moves on the tiny specks of toxicity will increase by both time and aging and end up ruining the friendship. I had this relationship before but my popular friend kept talking behind my back. I had pretty good hearing and I knew a lot due to the amount of book knowledge I stored in my brain.

Exactly. The friendship goes really well in elementary, and everyone gets along. When middle school and high school starts, the nicest people and friendships start to change and become more toxic since popularity starts mattering more. That’s why I will never make friends in 5th grade next month and instead try to find a nice friend in high school.
Yk, coming to this comment know, you’re pretty right. I had this friend in 5th grade, we were pretty close I’d say, we’d always hang out with one of our other friends and we just like a trio. Anyway, once 6th grade began, he was totally different. He was rude to me and was being super inappropriate as well as being racist to some of my classmates as well. This is pretty weird too, cause I was actually quite popular in my class and my grade overall since I’d gotten the highest awards in the entire grade with only 3 other six graders. So me and those 3 other sixth graders got the highest grades in the entire 6th grade overall for that school year. No one else was really that mean to me and I’d made lots of friends. I was never quite sure why he’d changed, but I was also not quite sure why it didn’t affect me much considering how close we were previously. Something like that should’ve hurt, but it didn’t. Not sure why.

my explanation: it does seem as if jenny developed a toxic behavior over time, which really hurt sarah. they were seen as separate people unlike before when they were seen as the same people and even better as best friends. but i think sarahs communication seemed poor and jenny likely wouldve changed what she says of sarah if she realized sarah didnt like it. though, most toxic friends jumo right into the habit again after getting comfortable again. jenny also seems like she meant all that jokingly. sarah during college is popular, unlike jenny. she takes this moment to embarrass jenny when jenny is called fat. she i think told a few of jennys secrets, and along with that fat shames her. sarah knew what she was doing, but i cant blame her for wanting revenge. jenny says nothing. though i dont think anything would change what sarah was doing. in all, both of their sides were toxic.

this actually happens to ACTUAL friendship. Let me explain:
-So, You both are inseparable for a very long time, although, one is famous, one is just a "sidekick" among what people people think of them. They care about each other but soon years later they start to be more distant, because Jenny became more popular and Sara(h) might have gone a bit jealous and they grew more and more distant.
-Jenny started to never really care for Sara(h) because she was liking the fame. Sara(h) then got even more distant with Jenny. The 2 have grown after 12th grade and suddenly Sara(h) took a turn in the spotlight whist Jenny was busy some where else.
-They were still together to college but Sara(h) still got more popular since right after 12th grade. Now Jenny had a taste on how it feels to be a "sidekick" in the friendship. The people that were badmouthing Jenny did not care or did not know their friendship. Sara(h) had step out her shade and BECAME Jenny's personality.
-In the end, Jenny felt Sara(h)'s pain. Sara(h) overall was still thinking about their friendship, but her popularity was stopping from her to continue to be friends with Jenny.
-Overall, friendships never really last long. You could be considerate to your friend now but someday this will turn into YOUR friendship. Many people have experienced this and I have too. So most of all they were both in the wrong. Sara(h) is now inconsiderate to Jenny and became her. Jenny however was in the pain watching from afar that her time to be popular and the the famous in the friendship has turn up. So please cherish your friends while it last. You may have not have a chance to meet them or be with them anymore so. Just cherish your time now.

I had a friendship like that, we were both nerds at first, she was naturally unpopular and I just lost most of my friends and we became besties, at middle school she unintentionally spread rumors about me but I was so lonely I didn't cut off.
Now at covid she ghosted me for around half a year to be with some other nerdy girls she looked good with while I changed my hobbies, looks and behavior in high-school, the last straw was when my parents split up, not only she was the only one who left me for her new friends but lied to me to do that, while I literally could've take a bullet or drown for her and was with her by my side for years.
So after a friendship of 14 years I cut off with screaming out what a terrible friend she is and ruined her social life for that year

Due to the colour similarities, I’d assume it may potentially be a necklace that resembles their friendship. Just remember no matter how you look everybody is pretty!

This is practically exactly the story of my ‘sister’ and I. We met at church 6 years ago, and instantly clicked, although she was 4 years older than me. But she was always more mature, and felt so confident that she always left me out thinking I was ‘too young and immature to play’. We moved in together, and I was the top student in my class. But she started guilt tripping me to skip class. She ended up dragging me into her ‘hole’, and got out of it a few years later. Now idk what to do.. I honestly feel bad for Jenny since looking at the little details while she was “insulting” Sarah (a little more like teasing), she wasn’t taking it seriously. Meanwhile, when Sarah was talking to others (basically the scene where they called Jenny fat), She took it as a serious insult and lead Jenny to tears. And when Jenny was “insulting” Sarah, she took it as a joke. I think this shows how Sarah didn’t really pay attention to Jenny’s feelings after she became popular.
Honestly, I feel more sorry for Jenny than for Sarah. It can be really trying being in a friendship where the other person is constantly horrible, but when someone is fat shaming or being rude to someone, whether they’re your friend or not you aren’t supposed to join in.

They both got some work to do, I think Sarah is pretty chill, and just wanted to finish what Jenny started but it was kinda dirty of her to ruin Jenny’s social life in college(while Jenny only seemed to say mean comments, while not ruining Sarah’s social life, just pretending it’s all “normal” while Jenny just needed to grow up from think she’s perfect with her looks and less superior friend, she seems more grounded in college. Anyways, I think Sarah is not limited when it comes to job options, she seems to be smart and gorgeous, while Jenny seems to be good at singing.
