For all who see this comment, I've just finished Vinh's stage academy and it is one of the BEST courses I've ever done. He provides so much value that is actionable and easy to understand right away. You can actually tell that he really cares about the person doing the course as he goes through it. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Vinh!
Man, when I saw your storytelling to the military people, I was crying man. I mean, imagine a military guy kinda have this feeling of having a sense of purpose because there was a guy before him that saves people from something. Man, this is great! Love it keep creating it!
Bumped into this. Thanks to RUclips's algorithms. I'm preparing for a preaching session in a local church and it is only my second time doing it. I've learnt so much in this short video that I'm going to put into practice storytelling at the beginning and bringing a prop with me.
Vinh is amazing at what he does and if I had enough money I would buy the course right away! I absolutely can relate to his stories about his parents escaping Vietnam because my parents went through something very similar there as well and let’s not forget how good his vietnamese is wow!
I agree about this remarkable ways to create best 1st impression...my self also do this 3 way everyday when meeting my new customer..thats mean this 3 way also can apply to everywhere at anytime.. doesn't mean only on stage..right mr vinh ? Now a days i always watch your video to help me improve my communication skills..tq so much mr vinh for always making educational video..
Something I've struggled with is becoming complacent after I reach a particular point. Don't get me wrong, being satisfied is great! But when it hinders you from progressing further, it's something which is of concern :// So I wanted to ask, has there ever been a time when you were complacent? Or perhaps students you've come across who were complacent? If yea, how did you or they overcome it, if they did? If no, what do you think stopped them from doing so? You'd do me a great favor by helping me out with this. Thank you for reading!! Have a great day! :D
I’ve had and still do have this issue at times. I know I’m not Vinh, but I do have some tips that help me. Assuming you mean complacency in terms of growing in your communication skills and growing in confidence that stunt progression? After you identify it, it’s usually fixable by finding a new challenge in that area and raising the bar for yourself. Vinh has mentioned something in the past called ‘contextual confidence’. This is when you can be super confident in certain circumstances. For instance a musician can perform on stage and look extremely confident, but off stage and without their instrument, look very shy. Similar thing socially. If you’re getting confident and comfortable at meeting someone 1 on 1 to the point you find yourself being complacent, try putting yourself in a scenario where you’re meeting groups of people or even try and find a way to talk on a stage. Do something that makes you feel nervous again. Setting new goals and challenges each time you feel too comfortable is a great way to combat complacency. Hope this helped 👍
Hill bro! Actually when I'm trying to communicate with public on stage my words has gone, I just forgot everything of my presentation and start shaking
Given that every speech you give is so well-rehearsed, I assume everything is intentional. When you were speaking, I noticed that several times you used repeated words back to back like a nervous speaker usually would like we-we-we, i-i-i, it-it, etc which isn't usually the case. Was this intentional and if so was it in order to try to build a connection and rapport given such a different audience? Or for a different purpose?
Hey Giang, I really love your tips.. I need some of your help. I have a stammering voice and my speech therapist recommended me to talk slowly and with breaks (as a example he told me to watch the Kings Speech movie) but I can't seem to change the behaviour of my speech.. can you help me any way?
heyy! i hope you respond to this, yesterday i gave a presentation on our team's project,i need to mention that we came from a tier 2 college and the jury were the prof from prestigious colleges in india. Starting from the moment we enter the stage, they pretend not to liston us this might be due to our shabby appearance compared to thier expectations. Me seeing all this i lost my confidence and kept worring about this had done a horrible presentation. I would love to get insights from you regarding "how to get attention from those and how not to think about these things in mind and to overcome these on the spot" and kindly explain about the art of sentence forming also.
Hey vinh i really hope you see this. i suggest you improve the background if your studio room. take this as constructive criticism tips 1 remove unnecessary stuff like wires and tripods 2 make an aesthetically pleasing backdrop
Hi VInh, learning from you is an absolute fun, not to mention edutainment. And I just need one missing piece in the puzzle, which is action taking, that, I somehow know what too do, and I avoid doing it, I procrastinate a lot.... How can one be an massive action taker, be it a big or small thing in your life that can make a difference to you and people around you. @askvinh

Yo Vinh, curious what it would take to get some of your time 1-on-1?
Very entertaining, learned a lot. 😊
