- I have had an eye out for a pair of Chino pants for a long while now but for one reason or another, I just couldn't find a pair that ticked all the boxes. So when the guys over at Blue in Green reached out and asked if I wanted to check out their new in house line it seemed that the stars had aligned and it was time to pull the trigger.

They have what's called a "Hollywood Waistband". The outside waistband is part of the same piece as the legs, the only visual cue is the seam from the inside waistband rather that a cut fabric seam like on jeans. It's a really nice, tailored detail.
At least in the US, we'd call that button sewing technique a shank, even though it's just made out of thread.

They're nice pants. Wish they made a size 40 available. Never understood why people want their chinos to fade. I would rather have them colorfast., to keep wearing them forever. The PBJ'S corlection has are dope, i would buy those as well.
I guess that the Blue in Green customer is a total denimhead and wants to fade everything ;)

They look like the best chinos I've seen to date, it's just a pity they can't keep up with demand which again is just testament to their quality. I love chinos but I've just never been completely happy with the quality and fit of the ones I've chosen. They look great and I love the odd departure into other aspects of menswear.
I guess they will be doing another round of them. They seem to have been super popular.
Who knows perhaps you're having a bigger impact than you think?
Appreciate the chino coverage. Would you be able to make a video about how to handle selvedge chinos? Like, will they stretch, when and how to wash, etc.
I got a pair of selvedge chinos from a Brave Star pre-order. Besides a tag inside the pants suggesting to wash after 6 months there's not a lot of info on raw sanforized chinos.
Great suggestion! I will give some feedback in the coming weeks or months for sure. I will be interested to hear your thoughts on the Bravestars, I've had so many folks asking my opinion on them but I have yet to get hold of a pair.

Bought a gently used pair of Red Clouds recently for like $90. What is your opinion on the brand? Do you own a pair?

Haha, I do own a pair in fact. They are amongst my favourites of all time. I also got them super cheap and really abused them... washed them at 60 degrees to see what would happen etc (cause the owner of the brand told me to directly I will add ;) but they are such a beautiful pair of jeans. So sad that you cant get them outside of China anymore. You can see them in my denim collection vid :)

Yeah, and it's the MK1 as well. Without the stupid "Ocean One" branding that were introduced later on. Brilliant watch, I use mine daily!

I don’t think so unfortunately. It’s a store first and foremost. I’m super happy with my chinos and the shipping was not crazy expensive.

I ordered these chinos 14days ago, paid 40bucks for fast shipping, and i haven't received them yet. They don't answer when I message them, pretty bad customer service from Blue in Green. Love their products tho, but im not sure if im gonna do business with them in the future :/
