So sorry to hear about you losing your Nana. I loved mine. She was from Sweden and she died when I was 10. You have had a year of thrills such as Burgley and now this great loss. Quite the roller coaster. God bless you and keep you safe and at peace. Thank you again for sharing the vlogs.

I'm watching this vlog almost three years after you've posted it. I don't even know if you check comments on your old posts. My Nana passed away last night... a few hours before we started the new decade. My heart is broken, but before she passed I'd been out to visit an OTTB that some of my horse friends thought might be a good fit for me. I've been looking for my next horse for over a year now. I started watching your videos tonight to start refreshing myself on horsemanship. Anyway, thank you for your vulnerability... I'm hurting now, but I agree that the animals help to make things better... and you've helped me to not feel so crazy for being so sad.

I'm sorry to hear about your nana. Going out for fish and chips is a wonderful way to say godbye. Thank you for doing a vlog anyway, we all appreciate it. Don't worry if you don't manage to do a vlog now and again, it's something we look forward to, but not something we are entitled to demand. xxx

Elisa, When I lost my grandmother 21 yrs. ago it was hard too. She was my Mother along with grandpa Dad. They raised me from the age of 6mos. old. My real parents were young and inexperienced. Grandma to me had passed on before she left this world for a better place. She had a stroke, dementia, and alzheimers too.She was a strong woman in her own way. She watched over me through a lot of problems that happened to me over the years like a good mother would. There were things that happened to me that I won't go into detail about, but suffice it things that I wouldn't wish on anyone including my worst enemy. But remember the good times that you had together. This will be with you for the rest of your life. I love horse too. Never had one of my own but I've been around them a little. Animals will always sense it when you are having a hard time. Enjoy continuing your dream and over time things will get better.

Why do you teach your horses to sit? Is there a reason behind it, or is it just for fun? Just curious :)

    • @carolinemcrae4277

SouthernEQ I think she mostly does it for fun. It builds trust and a bond between them as well as a little respect. Just a little trick to have fun with I believe

Is starting Mustangs for owners something you offer regularly? I've always been interested in adopting, but would like them to be started by a pro, so they have a good base first.
