i guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a way to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can give me!
Excellent training with a young horse who only knows one way of life. Love the obstacle course, he is thinking hard and trying to trust you. He will be a great Eventer........
I have recently discovered this channel. I think you are the link between William Fox Pitt and a Cowboy that the horse world needed. What a range of knowledge in one so young. A true horse-maker. Such a sympathetic rider on the flat.
Lovely looking fellow! This why the paddock that my mares and foals go into after they are born and doing ok, has a dam as the only water source with a bank and a couple of small rolling hills. They naturally become confident with water and balanced with hills and small creeks and dips ☺
I’ve been binge watching your videos and I absolutely love the way you interact with your horses. Making them use their head, and being patient/kind with them. They clearly thrive with you. ❤️❤️
Thank you for showing the wide array of horse and human connections. I was similar to your way of being ( with equines ) .. I will pray for you to continue and forever be true
This reminds me of working with my rescued greyhound. She'd never seen steps, windows, trees, tiled floors, etc. The tiled floors really got her! Every time I took her to my poor sister's house, she'd take a few wobbly steps into her house, on tiles, and then promptly poop. 😆
I board my horse at Greenridge Stables which is very close to North Atlanta Equestrian! I had some friends who went to your clinic. Wish I could have gone... but my horse was lame at the time. Anyway, it was great to see how you handled this! I have a young ottb myself who does pretty much the exact same thing as the first horse you took through the obstacles... when she is scared she panics and shuts down. I am working on keeping her moving forward and redirecting her attention. Glad I'm not the only one and that we will get past it eventually! :)
I had a 17.3 thick-barrelled TB ex-racer that was a rearer, biter and spooker. I would love to have seen how you would have handled him. I will admit it was scary. The biting went away - he had a lot of left-side physical issues though. Apple of my eye depicted actually in my icon here...
I absolutely love this video - you speak "horse" better than anyone - lol! I had a smile on my face (all terrain vehicle - ha) through the whole thing and a big laugh at the garbage can at the end..."silly goose!" It's so cool when I get to see you play with and teach your horses. They are so beautiful - those faces - those eyes! Really like learning about their different personalities. So thanks, once again, Elisa, & thanks to your videographer too...was that Timothy? Thank you! :)
Paula Ostrom have you seen videos from Think Like a Horse. You may think he rages on women but we are the majority of horse riders. Watch with open eyes and ears
The problem I had training my horses I didn’t have the facility or props. Just two wide open spaces..catching up on all your videos. Your a great trainer. Love you💕
The Chestnut one is like Haviah when she gets nervious she will shut down, Ginger is like the bay as she just trucks through it even if shes not sure what is going on.
Every thoroughbred ever=Sassy af. (I know because I rode a thoroughbred mare for beginners and beginning intermediates, and when I was grooming her... MY GOD MAVEY)
Could you do a bit video with all the bits you have why and who you use them, also your nosebands and bridles I seen a few in your GoPro vids and was interested
@@WallaceEventing I just noticed that in ur latest GoPro videos the bits u use on xc and the nosebands(forgot the name) I saw was a combo thing about pressure
have any tips for a horse that will not stop no matter what u do when they gallop? my ottb mare was on a trail last weekend and we had a open space that u can run them across and her mind shut off and she just took off i literally had to almost run her into a tree to stop her
work on canter to trot transitions, or an exercise I use with my OTTB is get him to do very collected canter and then do a very free extended canter and move between till eventually I feel I have control over his speed and pace. Master your slowing and stopping your horse at the trot and canter before moving on to a full gallop :)
Elisa I need some advice. I ride my aunties pony cause I can't currently afford to have my own. And she's scared of every mounting block. And also when I try to put a saddle on her she tried to bite and kick me.
When was the last time a vet had her back checked? Maybe the saddle doesn't fit (anymore) and causes her pain? This could then also be an extention to the mounting blocks as she knows that's where people normally get on her back.
Wallace Eventing her back was looked at last year and there wasn't anything wrong. My aunties pony was abused before we got her. I'll talk to my aunt and see what we can do. My aunt doesn't have a lot of money and neither do I. My aunties pony is living out all year round and I'm the only one that rides her now, my aunt had a slipped disk in her back so she's unable to ride her anymore.
MegaNatasha13 get some slippery elm bark (30$ on Amazon) give 2teaspons with 2ounces of aloe Vera juice(7$ from Walmart) I also use a product called USHIELD from choiceofchampions which really does WORK. But maybe try the slippery/aloe first if it's a $$ issue.
Omg I don't think I would like a Off the track thoroughbred and their super spooky natures as I don't think a wild horse would be this difficult. My hat goes off to you
Darryl Bavington they are pretty similar actually. Thoroughbreds do tend to have a more flight mode. Each horse is an individual and I've had mustangs that have taken a year to just be comfortable with humans in general. It really is based on the individuality of the horse. Mustangs and thoroughbreds have incredible qualities and make them awesome to learn from.
Are you going bit less or still metal mouth??? Bit less is best. You seem to love your horse you should be with out that rubber BIT. Better yet you try wearing it and you might just understand how he would relax. Remember his mouth has probably been abused by jockeys all his LIFE
I am still amazed at how effortless you make it look to mount bareback!!!
Silly Indy...made me laugh at his spider leg antics on the uneven ground. Ha! Henry was super brave, curious, and gorgeous!!
Ditto!!🐴🐎🐎🐎
"You have to learn how to be an all terrain vehicle"

@Nicholas Gerardo instablaster =)
I love how she explains what she's doing and why she's doing iy
Your commentary makes me feel better about my horse conversations.
I love your training techniques with greenies! I have a green horse who's very spooky and this video was very helpful! Thanks!

Wow so happy I found this channel. I have a georgous OTTB that I want to retrain to event. This channel will be a huge help.
All three of my OTTB's were really mellow and it took no time to get them used to things. I realize how lucky I am.
I love watching you work with green horses, your training techniques are amazing!!!
LOL, In the beginning, OMG you had thought he was jumping a canyon!!!😂
I'm crying!!! Literally crying from laughter!!! 😂😭 These videos make my Mondays worth it! 😊🙈 Thank you!
Thank you for posting! I love your natural horsemanship and training! Confidence building! Love your channel!
I’ve been binge watching your videos and I absolutely love the way you interact with your horses. Making them use their head, and being patient/kind with them. They clearly thrive with you. ❤️❤️
I loved this video! It really inspired me and gave me some ideas for working with my horses!

This is a great video. I picked up some good tips here. You have lots of patience! Beautiful horses too.
I love watching Thoroughbreds, such an elegant breed.

I loved the horse in the beginning! I love his personality! You handle horses so well! Loved the video! 😊
Indy is so handsome!
omg!! you are so brave and your methods are amazing!!! You have my support 👍

You should do a barn tour!!
The problem I had training my horses I didn’t have the facility or props. Just two wide open spaces..catching up on all your videos. Your a great trainer. Love you💕
"it's not going to eat you" lol I say that to my hose ALL the time
I love how you work your horses you totaly understand them! :)
and I thought my horse was bombproof. Indy did a lot better than my horse wouldve. congrats. :)
The Chestnut one is like Haviah when she gets nervious she will shut down, Ginger is like the bay as she just trucks through it even if shes not sure what is going on.
Another exercise I like is to straddle a cavalety pole. Left feet on one side and right on the other side.
Such a lovely horse so funny though the ground is going to eat me moment haha
I wish we had training obstacle courses like that one in Scotland
i really enjoy watching your videos! Please keep doing them 😍💖
Love this so much you are a superstar⭐️
He might be a little bit of a scaredy cat yet, but by god Indy is absolutely stunningly gorgeous. And I love how playful Henry is haha!
Every thoroughbred ever=Sassy af. (I know because I rode a thoroughbred mare for beginners and beginning intermediates, and when I was grooming her... MY GOD MAVEY)
Love this

the flying Appaloosa I already have one :)
@@WallaceEventing I just noticed that in ur latest GoPro videos the bits u use on xc and the nosebands(forgot the name) I saw was a combo thing about pressure
If you have children and their afraid of something, then you’d be a good parent especially after watching the 1st horse clip
That dog is adorable
GREAT video!
I really like Henry.
Your dog is adorable
He was holding in that lick n chew 😂
"Don't you know there are giant, horse-eating birds in these woods? How can you be so calm, woman??" ~the horse, probably
have any tips for a horse that will not stop no matter what u do when they gallop? my ottb mare was on a trail last weekend and we had a open space that u can run them across and her mind shut off and she just took off i literally had to almost run her into a tree to stop her

thanks, ive actually have been doing the transitions since then and she has gotten better
OMG YOURE FEARLESS 😍
Learn to be amongst the woods😂😂😂😂😂👌🏻
The rope halter's lead rope in the thumbnail looked like bubble gum and I was so confused!! Like "is that horse chewing gum?!"
I love that Indy has the same name as me haha

MegaNatasha13 sounds like she is in some type of pain. I would look into treating the tummy for ulcers. That is also the rust thing I do.
Wallace Eventing her back was looked at last year and there wasn't anything wrong. My aunties pony was abused before we got her. I'll talk to my aunt and see what we can do. Wallace Eventing ok thanks. I live in the UK. So we don't have a Walmart. But I'll look for the stuff from somewhere in the UK. Thank you.
Do u train other green ottbs
loved the poo shot! 😂

are you having any clinics in colorado? anytime in next few months??
Do you still have these horses. Do you still rehab racers
Yes
How many horses do you have?
I want a video on just your dogs lol
Messing with the trash can is totaly something my boy would do
7:19 wow.....skilfully, I envy.... :(
be careful they are years - frustrations, angers
HES SO CUTE 😱😱😱😍😍😍
Georgia's lack of recycling turns into a training exercise. Lol. #repurpose
My horse looks exactly like Indy but my horse is a mare
ATV 4 hoof drive
use a ridding security jscket
WOOOW... an internet trainer hating on a four star eventer, smart
Henry thinks he's a raccoon XD
I'm late. But that horse in the beginning is one big whimp 😂
I'd love to see you with some of this breed, too: ruclips.net/video/Qqh0Qq0gNBQ/видео.html
after mostly watching the mustangs who understand uneven terrain, the thoroughbreds seem like big silly poodles
*it
Are you going bit less or still metal mouth??? Bit less is best. You seem to love your horse you should be with out that rubber BIT. Better yet you try wearing it and you might just understand how he would relax. Remember his mouth has probably been abused by jockeys all his LIFE
She's a professional. She knows what she's doing. That, and she often trains these ottbs in eventing. Which you're not allowed to go bitless for.
