- I acquired some new pieces from someone's Monster collection, great old Aurora & Ripley's models that some of you may remember from the 1960's.

Great video and these models bring back great memories as well. Being born in 1967 it was an amazing time to grow up and like you said it was such a simpler time.
Born in 66 had most of those throughout the early 70s loved painting and putting those together as a kid 🔥🔥🔥

Man, I have wanted the Prehistoric scenes for years but they're so hard to find.
I forgot about the swamp! Yeah i believe these came out in 73 as I remember being in grade school and getting them from Jc Penney of all places back when they sold toys and model kits AND records as I got my first of 3 copies of Dark Side of the Moon which came out in 73
i love those prehistoric scenes dinosaurs a few years back revell did a reissue on them and i managed to get the triceratops . allosaurus ,T-Rex (which sadly got damaged ) Styrakosaur and the Ankylosaur . they never did the whole line and the only re-issue I missed in that run was the dimetrodon which funnily enough is probably the only one closest to its modern fossil record counter part lol

I so remember these and they've been on my holy grail list! I'm at least fortunate to have a full set of the Morbius monster scene reissues.
Wish they'd redo these...I had the cave, the huge t Rex and the Neanderthal man....

Revell re-popped several of the dinosaur kits some time back, but the boxes aren’t nearly as cool.
Kids today part isnt entirely true iv got my 11 year old daughter who loves the munsters.granit she found out about them because of me..but she loves them no less
