Hello bro, excellent video, I am from Argentina but I have a question how to differentiate original screens, or the simple fact of bringing a frame like the one you installed already indicates that it is original?
Duplicate indicate is no frame joint, no touch quality, no display quality, and original has combo provide by company display touch frame

Excellent explanation bro, very clear, then I will have to buy the screen that comes with the frame, because here in my country all the screens without a frame that they sell you are Chinese replicas

Thanks very much. Will give this a go. But don't my replacement screen came with the glue transfer. Wondering which glue to use? LIke T-7000 or T8000? Or where can I get just the transfer/s?

I just attempted this repair. Sadly i ended up ruining the battery and one cable (the one behind the battery on the right), because Motorola decided to GLUE THE BATTERY TO THE CHASSIS???. I have no clue why they would have to glue a battery in thats meant to be replaced but here we are. Im now contemplating if i even want to finish the repair. This is not very Right-to-repair-friendly in my opinion.

1- erro usar ar quente na lente das câmeras (Danifica a lente), 2- usar pinça de precisão para retirar a placa (Danifica a ferramenta) 3- A peça utilizada e recondicionada e tentou passar como nova para os espectadores rs(Basta ver as marcas da pasta rosa do processador ) 4- A pasta rosa que ele esqueceu de repor novamente faz a ligaçao do processador com a base de metal do aro que serve para dissipar o calor, sem ela o processador ira esquentar em +35% fazendo o aparelho perder desempenho. Thermal paste Already attached a motherboard, so doesn't matter to new combo lcd inbuilt thermal paste
Unfortunately, it is not that easy to remove the battery. You really have to heat it by a hairdryer front- and backside, but it is possible to remove it without removing the glass.
Possible, but it's risk for blast battery, so I worked in thinner liquid use to remove battery
just fighting that battery. I hope it will work

No, it's a joint combined part provide of service center, not a separate
Actually, I believe you can, but I personally wouldn't attempt it. It seems like very delicate work (see video below - there are a few on RUclips). One minor slip and your back to buying the whole screen and digitizer anyway.

This video is complete BS. at 3:30 the battery does not just come out like that. It is glued in with an unholy amount of glue. I destroyed by battery due to this misleading video. Watch out for the glue. WHy the battery is glued as all heck in there I'll never know.
There is company manufacturer policy, architecture, design and part quality of the parts, and its company process to remove battery, not my decision, ok
Scott Klein I don’t agree that the video is BS however it is not for people who have not attempted phone screen repairs before. This is a very complicated repair to undertake. I do however totally agree with you about the battery removal step. That step in the video is totally misleading as it shows the battery being lifted out with ease. This is most certainly not the case as the battery is ridiculously glued in and you have to go very slowly and carefully when removing it. I used a spudger, pick and credit card slowly lifting the sides a little just enough to get something underneath to start cutting through the adhesive. The battery will bend so you really have to take your time as if you bend the battery to much it will be damaged and it will need to be replaced. My guess is that Motorola have done this to stop people like us attempting our own repairs. Great video bar battery removal step.
