      He did. No one saw him beating Spence like that. That said, Errol should have been active - can't sit on the couch for nearly 16 months with only 2 fights in the last 3 years, in between 2 accidents and one eye surgery. It was bound to catch up with him. He lost because Terence was better, but the fight could have been closer had he not gone throw a lot of issues and inactivity since 2019.

    I was so crushed to witness Spence first loss this way. What was scary was as bad as his loss looked Crawford actually held back. I was extremely impressed by Buds performance. Classic fight. Classy Dude.. 🫡

    Losing to a champion is better than avoiding it to make your record look like you didn't lose. Dodging fights is dishonorable. He took the fight like a real fighter and that should be applauded.

    I’m so glad Spence didn’t give one excuse. Almost every fighter slips in an excuse like “the weight cut was pretty difficult and I didn’t have my legs under me like I wanted too. And I was having a little trouble seeing out of my right eye….but no excuses, he was the better man tonight.” He took the loss like a man.

      Let me say, as someone who is on record that said Spence would beatdown or TKO Bud in 2023 and that Bud only had a punchers chance to win as I thought, Bud wasn't in his prime (16 - 19) , that was not only P4P#1 that was ATG, automatic HOF and GOAT debate of the likes of SRR, SRL and RJJ.     Despite this, Errol is still one of the best boxers of his generation. Unfortunately for him, Bud is probably one of the greatest to ever lace them up. Both were class acts before, during and after the fight and I am a fan of both for life.

Now he's the consensus number one pound for pound the best fighter in the world. It's Time to move up to 154 Lbs. division and start terrorizing that division. Much respect to Errol Spence.     You look at Spence’s accomplishments on a high level and Crawford made it look like it was his first fight ever. Bud came out untouched. I knew the angles and Buds ability to punch with power from anywhere would be the difference.

    Much respect to both of those guys, they conducted themselves the right way. They didn’t let it get nasty or disrespectful, they made it about the business. They never disrespected one another and they conducted themselves with class. Errol had a reputation for having the power and Bud had the reputation for being intelligent and crafty, they did what they knew to do. Great Fight!

    I feel so gutted for Spence; he's a really good dude and I've enjoyed watching him over the years. He's had some phenomenal wins and really earned his position as a dominant welter.
    Crawford shifted into a new gear last night that in the past, IMHO, he only attained to set up for and then execute the finish. It was perhaps the most remarkable performance factoring in all contexts that I've ever seen in the sport of boxing.

    Crawford was incredible. That was an awesome display in that ring. Next next level stuff. He was that much better than one of the best in the world. Incredible timing, big shots, and complete control of the biggest fight of his life. Gotta respect that. Spence was getting rocked and his face was battered. He was physically, and I'm sure mentally, beat up, but he was ready to die before he gave up. He never stopped throwing punches the entire time. Gotta respect that as well. Great fight from two guys who finally stepped up and faced each other.

      Relax it was a worse loss, but they kept calling this a throwback fight, wat happened with Sugar Ray after his first loss to Duran? I don't thin Spence is the same cloth of fighter while Terence is but who knows, his career has plenty of highlights left, and even Ray and Hearns go out like that later in their careers watching your fav''s as you grow up with them its just what you''re bound to see.     Crawford is my favorite active fighter, I was pretty confident he would win. Didn't expect it to be so one sided. With that being said, so much respect for Errol Spence Jr. Humble in victory and defeat. From a true boxing fan thank you both for that fight. 🙏🏻 for a speedy recovery for Spence.       Perspective is key 🔑 as a Bud fan I saw it differently. Errol made shirts implying Bud was weak and scared, told him that he should thank him for making it happen, and brought Buds kids into it. “I’m not one of your kids” “ I’m gonna treat you like one” and he did just that

    Great thing about this fight is that fans of both camps recognize the talent and skill of both boxers. No one can say these aren’t both warriors. Hope Errol has a good recovery and gets back in it with some new insights. Bud Crawford, PVP no disputing it, fighting the best in his class and picking up the belts, hope boxing media finally gives him the praise he deserves after all the years
