What about how the AI targets which of our party members to hit? Do you have any insight into this? Like how sometimes an enemy will go out of its way and receive opportunity attacks from a pt member near by just to reach a different character
unfortunately not 100% on why the AI does what it does - though on tactician and honour the AI is more brutal, so if your ally is low HP/downed they'll go out of their way to kill it seems! My best guess is they have calculations on likelihood of successful attack against the AC of your team and if unlikely to hit they'll go elsewhere
Not 100% guaranteed, but a lot of the time enemies will go out of their way to attack concentration characters. Even sometimes to their own detriment. So that is typically the reason.
lotta yappin in this one. not revolutionary stuff but hopefully useful for some! could definitely watch in 2x though it's gotta be said
bros got that PHD in yapping
This is the best, most comprehensive explanation of the underlying mechanics that I’ve seen from any video yet - and I’ve watched a lot. Thank you.
Yappin simulator 2023 (useful yappin tho)

also thanks for the tips. very steep learning curve, but I find it to be paying off (:
