It has honestly been over a decade since I've fallen in love with a music artist the way I'm falling for Skelephant. I feel like I've been given back an old forgotten relic that should have been by my side all this time but was missing for so long. But instead of longing for that lost time between us, like with an old friend I'm simply happy we are finally reunited and I won't lose sight of it this time. Like other lone wolves such as Beck or Tom Waits, Skelephant makes his own magic: a tragically beautiful blend of old and worn yet cherished melodies that feel foggy and dusty but that bring us a strange sense of comfort and familiarity. This makes the faded yet surprisingly solid music piece something you'll always want to go back to because you understand that it's a part of you now. It makes you feel at home, amongst your kind. Sincerely, thank you Skelephant you are truly amazing, I'm so happy I've discovered you. Thank you to Leaky Basement Records for making this available and thank the RNG glitch in the RUclips algorithm that brought me here in the first place. I'm so very grateful. These records are nothing short of mind shattering and life altering. A well deserved 10/10 (A very rare score from me)
I relate to this so much - thank you @VisitorQMTL for finding the right words to describe what I thought was indescribable! The last time I felt this way was 15 years ago, late at night, letting the algorithm lead my stoned 15-year-old self through the limited psychedelic music available on RUclips and very occasionally landing on something that would become a part of me. Since then, no matter how hard I looked, music has not had that impact. Skelephant completely unlocked that same feeling that you described, maybe with a greater magnitude even given my longing for it and loss of hope along the way. Thank you, Chad for doing what you do! Mad respect!
The addition of the banjo is wonderful. It fits perfectly with the sound - makes me feel like it was always there on Skelephant albums, I'd just never noticed it before
The 3rd theme "Dreamy" intro looks for me very similar (and it`s good) to Queens of the Stone Age - Everybody Knows That You're Insane. What do you think, guys?

Lol what the fuck is with this album name.
Great music. Unfortunately, some recipients may perceive the picture as a clunky message with too literal symbolism.
