I think anything but the hammer has situations where it easily outshines the others. The gauntlet I think is kinda special bc while with others you're usually focussing a single target to get them off the screen, I found that with the gauntlets my best strategy is to constantly roll around, get the combo off on an enemy and then roll to the next. This works pretty well since the gauntlets need some time to unfold their great damage and if you switch targets constantly it keeps the enemies scattered, giving you the time you need to make the best out of the combo. Also i think the special is underrated af. If you have any form of invincibility or the enemy is rooted it shreds them as fast (sometimes faster) that the dagger special, plus you can't accidentally miss a hit bc you slightly miss-aimed. So while I think you didn't give the gauntlets enough credit, that's just my opinion and the video and points were great. Keep up the good work 👍
Yeah thats why gauntlet is my second favorite. I think the ratio between speed and damage is not that bad as it first seems and balancing it out with a attack speed card makes this weapon truly the best since the special as mentioned is much easier to handle than the dagger wich makes this weapon great for someone that hates aiming with the mouse and the keybordkeys simultaneously wich doesnt change the fact THAT ITS STILL SOMEHOW BUGGING OUT AND MISSING EVERY SHOT I TAKE AT ENEMYS🤬!! Considering that the special damage output compared to the dagger is minor so I think its a great deal plus the animation of the gauntlet is so so pleasing☺. But that still doesnt change the fact that, yes in most cases the dagger is probably your best option. Unless you are as stupid as me and you forget that something like doging exists and keep shanking the boss until either you or he will be still alive in the next 10 seconds😈. All in all great video👍.

Hammer is actually my favorite with dagger being my least favorite. I’ve found ways to use the hammer that are very effective. The key is to attack when the enemy has just barley entered the reticle. Get that down, and you will destroy everything with ease As for why I dislike the dagger, it’s very low damage and requires me getting too close for comfort. I can’t really master the special either…
2:02 in theory hammer works the best with merciless wepons becose they give you 1 crit hit every 20 or so seconds. So it is better if that one hit is strong 4:38 special is very good, with +attack speed? Pure power

I would say A tier, it is very good against enemies who you don't want to get too close to, it's my pick for The One Who Waits and Kallamar. But the reload is quite annoying against enemies you want to kill fast, for me it's Heket, since I want to kill her before she summons her giant frogs.

Idk, I absolutely love sword special attack! It almost remove any reason to use hammers when you have this on demand. It's pretty good for AoE, big dmg kills. Works pretty well with sword fast combo 3-4 normal swings and on 4th/5th or whatever use special attack to finish off enemies. With good dmg you can use it to kill big swarm of enemies with one hit. The difference with hammers is you don't need it all the time, but when there is situation and opportunity to do tactical big burst dmg - it's good. Giving you versatility
i think everything is a except for the hammer. but the knew blunderbussy is so op like it has best range simple but effective heavy attack and has super fast attack speed and is super good for bosses. you can shoot it a bunch of time and then recharge when its attacking
OK, so hear me out if you have the bishop seal and the godly hammer it kind of goes hard now I know it’s super situational, but like if you’re doing hammer, only run try to get a bishop seal slowing time or time stop affects, work really well and boss fights

Dude, the dagger is d tier for me. Its shoet range and low damage means that vs bosses and groups of enemies, you're getting hit before you can finish that combo. Its special is okay, but it locks you in place just long enough that enemies can take advantage of it. The biggest advantage of the axes special isnt that it hits twice, its that its a ranged attack that lets you move, giving it far more flexibility. Also, on the return hit, you can move, allowing it to hit enemies not in the original line or fire. It will also knock them closer to you, allowing you to combo into an extra hit if they survived the main attack. The axe is flexible and versatile, while the dagger cant do anything outside its special in mist situations, and that special is often done better by curses. But anyway, my favorite weapon is the gun.
The bit dagger shines is its heavy attack. All thrown knives has double the damage of your normal hit. If you time it right with the direction the enemy is moving, you can get 3-4 daggers hit the enemy all at once, effectively able to one shot everything except bosses, from a range, **while** being able freely move around, dodge and attack things. Thats the only weapon that can do that. But kind of requires you to be in the zone. Some players are just better with slow calculating moves, then Axe surely a better choice.
But hear me out, the dagger with the fleece that increases your damage with each kill though

Hammer is good because dodge rolling cancels the attack just in case and if you time it, comes down faster by dodge rolling into an enemy

the sword special is good because you don't have to use it as your main source of damage like with the hammer
