I'm 75 years old now! What memories of the past does this music brings up! Almost brings tears to my old eyes! I'm lying! I almost can't see the keyboard from my eyes watering! What blessed music that the Lord allowed my to hear!
Its sad this kinda music is gone, they dont make them like they used to. I'm 55 I grew up watching these as a kid in the 70s. My dads 89 in July, moms 84, there still alive, the heart keeps on ticking.
I'm only 24 and i think this is best music, they just don't do music like this for movies anymore. they barely make good movies anymore if I'm being honest. but music like this, simple storys like this, it made for amazing movies, something a lot of modern films forget.

How this guy only got 1 Oscar is beyond me and that for a modern movie. He added such emotion and passion. God rest your soul Sir, you're light will continue to shine.

Leone and Morricone, who met in school quite young became childhood friends. When the time came for Leone's vision to become reality, Leone chose his friend, who gave the vision a soul. May you both rest in peace, for you have given the world such incredible images and sound. May God Bless you both.
When we visited Rome, I took my son on a trip by train, bus and foot to a little cemetery south of the city where Leone is buried. To my chagrin, it is kept locked. We snuck around back and scaled a 6 foot wall, so we could lay flowers on this great man's grave.

I have watched all 3 dollar movies at least once a year since they came out but the final scene in TGTBATU i have "listened" to so many times i can't recall. That trumpet is insane delivering drama, suspense, tears, goosebumps and an apreciatation of Morricone's genius.

Surely there has to be a divine intervention in the making of all these masterpiece musics. How else can the appeal keep increasing with time. Liked them in 1970s...liking them much much more in 2019. The appeal is timeless, ageless and liked by ppl around the world.... My kids like them as much as I have... Its a miracle...
