Anchored Botany Bay in Strong South Westerly Wind

Anchored Botany Bay, England. South Westerly force 7 gusts, was windy, anchor dragged, but little swell built up due to it being protected from winds from south.
The forecast was F6 gusts but became F7 between 6-11 pm.
There are also break waters made of rocks at lower tides east & west if you have a lower draft.
There are strong cross currents up to 2 knots as tide flows in and out of thames which cause boat to change angles.
