Yes, and the courts have already determined that. This city will painfully find out their ordinance is illegal the first time they arrest someone with access to a Civil Rights attorney. It could cost them hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. These officers think their city ordinance Trumps the Constitution, but they are sadly mistaken. I really wish Jeff would have pushed the panhandling issue. But this could be an older video before the Florida Supreme Court made their ruling on panhandling. Which states its protected free speech. When I was a child I read the bible at home, my church going experience was never a great thing. Look up the Bishop of bling if your curious about where much of your tithes go.
The Constitution doesn't allow illegal solicitation on the streets. If you think it does, show WHERE in the Constitution it allows it. The 9th and 10th Amendments says if it's not in the Constitution, it's the responsibility of the States.
A true church would have the congregation come out and hold signs with this gentleman. Then, implore the congregation to go do good works for people less fortunate than them. This is an example of how far we have fallen.
Everyone has the right to petition entities for redress of their grievances. I am neither encouraging nor discouraging anyone to express their free speech right to seek redress for their grievances against the persons or entities in my videos. @@user-lf8om3hc8gThat's not how that works. Churches are tax exempt pending them holding up their part of a legal agreement. While churches are the only non-profit organizations that aren't legally required to give a public accounting of their finances, which I think is downright stupid and should be changed, they still have to actually do certain things to maintain that tax exempt status. No church can be tax-exempt if it can't show itself to provide some secular benefit to the community. For most churches, food drives for homeless shelters and after-school child care services are sufficient to meet this requirement (even though they charge money for childcare lol). There is also the additional requirement ever since the passing of the Johnson Amendment that requires that churches remain a-political. For example, a church legally loses its tax exempt status the moment any Church official in their official capacity as a church official tells the congregation who to vote for. Considering that practically every Evangelical church in the country does this, I think the IRS should investigate _all_ churches. Nobody actually knows how much revenue churches generate because they're not legally required to report it. Probably missing out on billions of dollars of tax revenue legally owed to the government by churches. They just get away with it because religion has a privileged position in US culture. Being tax exempt doesn't mean you can't lose tax exempt status. Technically speaking, they legally lose tax exempt status the moment they violate _any_ of a whole list of criteria they are required to adhere to.
Elected officials believe they have any authority whatsoever to tell free citizens what questions they can peacefully ask other citizens on public property. Thats utterly mind boggling.
People that are truly helpless homeless risk violence jail heavy fines they can't possiblity pay. That leads to a warrant making life even more of a nightmare next time police contact

I’ve been watching these audit videos for over a decade, while I truly believe Jeff has educated a lot of cops, departments and cities there is still a lot of work to do. Also it’s probably the “GOD BLESS” part of Jeffs sign that offends the leadership of Calvary, either that or they don’t want any competition for the sheep’s money!!

Most churches don’t want people that love Jesus and worships only Him.
If Jesus walked in they would try to crucify him again!
The church spreading that classic Christian love and fellowship
😂😂😂😂
No hate like Christian love
Sad isn't it 😕
Not a real church
Christians being not very
We, my wife and I, appreciate how you're out there showing how Christian-like all these good church going people are. 8 )
OMG, I've been spelling hypocrite wrong for all these years. It's actually spelled calvarychapel. Thanks for the spelling lesson, Jeff! I really appreciate you, GBTHV and Jeff Gray!! ✌️☮️💯🇺🇸

Don't let this one taint your view of all of them. None of them that I've ever been too would do this.
It's spelt C H R I S T I A N.
At least you didn’t spell it as cavalrychapel. 😂

3 cruisers with armed agents of the State show up to intimidate him for exercising his Constitutional Rights.
That church should take hard look at how they treat a god loving man like Jeff......
God bless you 🙏 brother
So let me get this straight. A church doesn't want you on there property holding a sign that says "God bless the homeless vets"? What hypocrites! Keep up the good work Jeff!
Worse, he is not on their property. If he was, he'd be trespassed and cuffed. He was on a public sidewalk near the church.
Well every dollar they give him is one less dollar they might get! Can't have that now can we?
They saw the sign and read it and think it says “Give me money!” .. simple as that.
Jeff, great job as usual. You are the master at finding Social Clubs disguised as a Church. The wolves have invaded the Church.
Shoplifting is out of control and three cop cars do this? Total waste of public resources for NO CRIME.
The irony of a Calvary Chapel calling the police on a person that they believe to be homeless is palatable.
IMHO the church us a modern day scam anyhow. Why do people need to go into a big over priced opulent building to have someone talk to them about their interpretations of bible passages and how all of US need to be humble and live poorly. When I was a child I read the bible at home, my church going experience was never a great thing. Look up the Bishop of bling if your curious about where much of your tithes go.
The irony of them soliciting on their website at the end of the video ...
Amen
Irony ? yes. Hypocracy ? Most definately !
Palatable means "tastes fine". Do you mean palpable?
Lovely to see how hot he came in and how quickly you defused him: "nothing you can do about it, lawfully".
He toned it down quite a bit from there.
I love the way Jeff dropped "lawfully" into the sentence.
Whenever anyone in law enforcement says that they aren’t there to give someone a hard time they usually proceed to do exactly that.
The church and hypocrisy . What a JOKE!. Thank youJeff.
The last few seconds of the video are pure gold! Poetic irony at its best! Loved it! 😍
So...not one person of integrity in the entire Christian church? Every single one of them are hypocrites?
US Constitution supersedes any city ordnance.

Did they find the person that was taking negative actions against some of your organizations you visited and had negative reactions? 🤔❤

As head of security at my church, We would welcome you. You can stand by our front door if you want. It would be interesting if you did this at the other churches in my town, I would like to see their responses. Keep up the good work brother. God bless the homeless vets.
I have been to a bunch of churches. Never seen one needed security. What are the worshipping in there
I'm leaving a prayer request for my friend who was recently trespassed from this church. God bless.
Gotta love that immediate and intentional gaslighting: "Nobody said anything about you trespassing" 30 seconds after informing him he's trespassed.
Cops are liars if anything.
This is my kind of Christian love... When you go to church make sure you bring your money.
And only give it to the folks that don't need it, and if the pastor falls on hard times, well, it's a sign that he wasn't really worthy then, was he.
Calvary Chapel's message that I'm hearing.
"Hey Y'all, we're a big fancy organisation with a nice building and extensive property. We rely on donations to operate and function and we'd love for you to give us your money, but if you're in need, don't you dare approach our donors for assistance, they are our donors, not yours. "
Well said, amen
Pastor ain't lettin nobody trespass on his grift.
What a church...... preaching and walking in the way they preach. Gotta love it. As a veteran myself. Thank you for what you do, good sir!
It amazes me that every LEO in Florida doesn't know who Jeff is.
Not the issue.
This comment is actually mind blowing. He has been all over Florida doing this and they question him as if he is brand new.
I think its a good thing honestly, it means he can still catch the morons and corrupt ones easily.

The amount of comments on this in 10 minutes, gives me hope for the future of this country.
"What about the people that thank me for being out here? Don't they have a say?"
*YES* EXACTLY, this isn't just a violation of your rights, but theirs as well.
I used to joke at work when coworkers would say merry christmas "My religion forbids me from accepting well wishes, you have just cursed me, I am doomed" I did it as a joke, the cops are really doing it by taking away the ability to pitch in. They don't stop those dog commercials "In the arms of an angel blah blah blah..."
I would love to meet this guy. lots of respect for what he's doing. Keep up the good work!
Shame on cavalry church
Agree with you.
Just remember, there is a difference between Calvary and cavalry.
This is Calvary Church being disingenuous and unneighborly - possibly criminal depending on if & how they called in HYO to dispatch.
Jeff...you are the GOAT, no question. I wish you would have asked the cops for money as soon as they said you can't ask for money. I love it when you do that. Great work. I can't wait for the bodycams. Hopefully we'll get the 911 calls, too.
More officers should approach and interact with the public like these officers did. Professional, calm, cordial, respectful. . . Very nice to watch.
The IRS needs to investigate that "church".
Won't do any good. They are exempt from taxes.
@@user-lf8om3hc8g They shouldn't be able to make a profit. If they are tax exempt, every cent is profit.

Look at how hard they act until they realize the person they are confronting knows their rights. Know your rights people.
I live in Boynton Beach and I think the police did a good job offering help for the homeless. Good job
Elected officials believe they have any authority whatsoever to tell free citizens what questions they can peacefully ask other citizens on public property. Thats utterly mind boggling.
And they know that their city ordinance is unconstitutional yet they still try to use it to intimidate knowing they’re not going to arrest you

I will never understand why church people call the police on someone, it doesn't matter if homeless or not, why calling the police, help them, bring them some food and water and threat them like human beings, not like trash. Keep up the great work Jeff. Greetings from Berlin, Germany.
It's like watching a whole school of blood-thirsty sharks have to pick up & swim away without even getting one bite out of their prey!
I don't feel the slightest bit sorry for them either!!!
Very sad to see that the Church called the Police instead of going out to speak to Jeff directly.
❤ Thank you Jeff for all you do.
I see both sides, the church doesnt know the law so they called the people that should.
however, they should have come out and asked if he wanted to come in.
Why would someone from the church talk to Jeff? 🤨 They're there to GET money (from "tithes"), not GIVE it, and if they thought Jeff was homeless, obviously they wouldn't get anything out of him, so why would they engage with him? 🙄
@@andrewenzor6418you see both sides??? Are you kidding?

Amazing that with only 1/8th the totally required hours of training that a state certified machinist would be required to obtain, this office developed the ability to make a legal determination like a judge with a full-blown law degree. SUPER COP!
Yep.
And he has a monopoly on state-sponsored violence.
I absolutely love your work Jeff, thank you so much ❤️
I’ve been watching these audit videos for over a decade, while I truly believe Jeff has educated a lot of cops, departments and cities there is still a lot of work to do. The ignorance of even some of the most basic laws and constitutional rights is terrifying, worse yet is the number of these places know full well their “ordnances” are unconstitutional but leave them in place until they’re forced by court order to remove them!! Also it’s probably the “GOD BLESS” part of Jeffs sign that offends the leadership of Calvary, either that or they don’t want any competition for the sheep’s money!!
"There's other ways to go about getting people to pray for the homeless than to peacefully remind people in public to pray for the homeless" Who cares? This is the way he chose.
Great video again. Never backdown. Amazing how our rights are slowly being eroded unless challenged.👍🇺🇸
