Sadly i started this less than a week ago so i couldn't animate as much as i planned, but im still happy with what i've got, considering i had so little time (oops i found the contest too late and i specialize in procastination).
This is also why it ends so suddenly, i had to cut out the ending. I also wished i could've used their true forms, but i had to stick to the animal versions. Maybe in the next contest/animation meme!

I've watched a couple of the animations about Waldron and the snake (I know their name starts with an a, but not sure how to spell it, I'm on mobile). I think I got some of the lore?
Waldron, the raven, is bullied by other birds (ravens or crows), and the snake sees this. The snake is nice to Waldron, or something that causes Waldron to let their guard down (either a bit or a lot). Waldron has magic or powers, and that might be why they were bullied. Later on, the snake wraps around Waldron and kills them, but they aren't dead, not permantly, anyway. They become a skeleton bird.

The way you did the lip-syncing with the skull is awesome!
It look like overall you let the beak maintain its shape (not making it morph how lips might on certain words) but you had the beak open and close and had the tongue move where it naturally would be. Is that what you did?
