I did switch up the spices a little bit because I didn't have a couple of them but I'm really happy with the spice blend I ended up with, it had a really nice kick to it!

I do third one in the oriental style. I make a simple batter out of eggs and cornflour. I then coat my chicken in the batter and fry in a large wok for about 6-10 minutes in total. Afterwards, I place the cooked chicken into a bowl ready for the next stage. I use this for two types of chicken dish. 1: My own version of the American Tso Chicken. I have never tried it before as its not a dish served in Chinese restaurants where I live so I haven't had anything to compare it to. Heck, I don't even know what Tso Chicken is supposed to taste like. Anyway, my version is zippy and vinegary with a touch of sweetness. 2: Sweet and Sour Chicken. I have had this in authentic Oriental restaurants as well as more westernised versions. I find the takeaway versions too sweet and I don't like shop bought sauce either so I always make my own sweet and sour sauce and try to recreate that authentic flavour which I love. I use soy sauce, rice vinegar, white sugar, a drop of ketchup for colour and cornflour. I sometimes add pineapple juice as well just to give it some fruity flavours and to give some more sweetness. I place my chicken back into the wok with a little oil just to heat it all through and then I add my sauce. Sauce and chicken will combine into a sticky pile of goodness.
