    I had some hair loss mainly due to stress and nutrient deficiencies. So I'm here watching with the Aphogee 2 step treatment on my hair and taking hair vitamins. Most of the stress has gone away. I developed a sensitive scalp in my 30s which I managed to get treated with my trichologists. I'm asking for a dermatology referral to see if I have CCCA. There's no cure for CCCA, but you can do things to manage it and slow down its progress. Most women under 60 want to keep all or most of their hair. I will rinse the 2 step out and put on my protein-free deep conditioner now! Great reminders to look after our hair and scalp! Always love your content!!

Thanks to you the things that helps my hair the most is the consistency of daily moisturizing my hair I hydrate with aloe vera juice and sometimes the Ossie moist like you suggested and follow with my avocado oil for my low porosity hair. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. You have been my go-to for a while and I appreciate you! I have suffered significant hair loss over the past year, and have for the past several months, been taking zinc and pumpkin seed oil, incorporating natural hair growth oil in my weekly haircare routine, and mostly protective styling (buns, Goody clip styles, single braid).
    The makers of a very well-known multi-use leave-in conditioner I have been using for several years have, for some reason, decided to put propylene glyocol in its product now. The product now feels greasy, and the wonderful spearmint scent is now almost non-existent. I don't know whether I should continue to use it, even though I have two full bottles.
    As a trusted hair chemist, would you mind sharing your thoughts on whether the propylene glycol should be avoided? My hair is growing back (filling in), and the length is below BSL. I don't want to experience setbacks for lack of knowledge and proper care.
    Thank you again, and God bless you for being a blessing to all of us out here?

I have to use a scalp mist and serum and steam my scalp with a plastic cap and hot towel daily This was recommended by my trichologists after they analysed my scalp. Nothing bonds my hair like Olaplex. When I combine Olaplex and Aphogee and hair vitamins....My hair has nothing to trim!! Which to be honest was a shock for me when it happened because I suffer with genetic hair loss and weak hair! I always read the ingredients on products and most have exactly the same ingredients...except Aphogee, Olaplex and the hair vitamins. Aphogee has hydrolysed Keratin or Hydrolysed Collagen as the second ingredient which is rare to see in most products. Olaplex has its own patented secret ingredient. Hair vitamins tend to have Saw Palmetto, caffeine and 1000% of the RDA of Bitoin and about 200-400% of B complex vitamins and Selenium and Zinc. That's how they differ from most hair products and most multi-vitmains. Always read up on ingredients so you know exactly what you are putting on your hair and scalp so you know how it's going to react.

Can you give me your name one lightweight and and one heavyweight that you would recommend from your list. I have never knowingly used protein on my hair though I did purchase apogee but returned it after reading instructions because I think I needed a hooded dryer and something else Karma using things that I don't do to my hair. Thanks.

      I went to see a trichologist clinic. They told me to put nothing on my scalp but Shampoo and a water-based scalp serum/mist/cream/gel. I shampoo weekly and steam my scalp with a plastic cap and hot towel for 20 minutes daily. I asked the trichologist about massage and they said that the steam acts as a massage. So I've been using no oils or butters or grease or conditioner on my scalp since 2019. It much much better. try this or please go and see a trichologist and/or a dermatologist. Dermatitis and inflammation of any kind on the scalp can make you lose your hair.

    • @CurlyChemistry
      @CurlyChemistry  2 месяца назад +3

      Olaplex uses peptides, and peptides are related to proteins but are typically much shorter in length. So yes, ultimately they help to restore and strengthen the hair.
