I have a 2023 Grand Cherokee Overland. I set up Alexa, but I cannot find if I can talk to Alexa to start my car. Is it possible?? Also, Is there a setting that when I do a remote start, I can require the vehic le to turn on the heat, heated seats and heated steering wheel? The manual shows a setting, but that setting doesn't seem to be in my vehicle under Remote Start. Thanks so much.

After making my comment I had to go down the line and read what some of the customers were posting. I rest my case. I really feel sorry for you guys spending all that money on something that's going to cost you nothing but headaches. Doesn't anybody research before they purchase a vehicle? or a home or go on vacation? Anything that costs big money. Common Sense people.
I assumed that owning 2 Jeep/Dodge products with a great Uconnect4 system, what was to worry about the Uconnect5. I was wrong and I wouldn't advise this program to anyone.

How much reflection do you get from the center consoles when the sun hits it, my 2018 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk when the sun hits the compartment door it blinds the hell out of me...have had customers make the same comment. You're also using glossy black for the finish how bout matte blacknsonit doesn't look so 1990s cheap
We live in a sunny hot area and the screen doesn’t reflect any light to our eyes. Sometimes the black tile material around it my be a little bright is certain angles
The screen is angled so it helps with reflection. I have never had a problem with it.
Does Apple CarPlay maps show up in the heads up display while connected wirelessly?

I got the Summit Reserve a couple of days back.....I've been getting speed warnings whenever the vehicle crosses the road's speed limit by 5 KM/hr....system starts beeping loudly for 8 to 9 times before silencing....it's very annoying..any ideas on how turn off the speed alerts?
I had that too! You can turn it off, I have it on but the noise part I chose to change. So now it only lights up red around the speed limit sign when I am going over the speed limit. I guess I speed too much 😂. I think you have to go into settings on main screen in the console to change it. There are Soooo many features I can’t figure out a lot of them. 🤣

I don’t have the heads up display menu on mine? Is that an option I didn’t get? We got the overland trim level
I have it on my Overland. Mine came with 2 packages, one of them with the head up display.
I thought the heads up was standard on overland and higher trim packages? Maybe not. Or is it turned off in the settings possibly?
You need the specific package on the overland trim to get the HUD, unfortunately.

1000% false. I've owned mine for over 3 months now and the system is TRASH. it never stays connected. I even got a brand new phone thinking it was my Bluetooth. But nope, still straight garbage. Even took it into jeep (3500 miles on it) they pretty much said " it's a new system so we don't know how it works ". I paid $52k for this vehicle and pretty annoyed how the "most advanced uconnect system " doesn't even work half the time. The screen also is not very responsive. My 2012 kia has a better system.
Chrysler makes a horrible product it's a known fact to me every friend that I've ever known that went out and purchased a Chrysler Dodge anything made by Mopar always came over the house and told me about the electrical problems they were having laid it down the road having more issues was all I had to hear to keep me far away from that company. I always research before spending any kind of serious money I don't like throwing money away
Sorry but the Uconnect 5 in GCL is horrible. Mine has been at the dealer for a few weeks just trying to fix issues with it, multiple software updates already and still more coming I heard. I have the 8.4 and when I first purchased Alexa, Off-road pages and Weather worked fine... then I lost the Alexa app, weather does nothing buy flashes the screen.. But, off-road pages work at least...for now. Not ONE person can even tell me if these apps are even supposed to be included with this version...they did work when new.

Can you help my 2021 drives in D1,2,3 and so on shifts! How do I get out of that ? Can I just drive In D,R, P and N?
This happened to me one day. So you may have hit the paddle shifters by accident. Or make sure it’s not in sport mode on the dial.
Did you call the dealership that would be my first call and if it was close I would drive it there that's what I did with any new car or truck that I purchased I wouldn't dream of asking somebody on RUclips
This comment is old, and I assume you figured it out, but maybe this will help someone else. If you hold the paddle shifter for a second or so it will go back out of that mode. Or once you turn the vechicle off and back on, it will also reset back to normal mode.
All kidding aside and I'm not a hater or anything like that. I would never ever consider purchasing or Leasing a Jeep or anything that Chrysler produces. Every person that I ever knew that purchased Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, Mopar anything in that family has always told me about various electrical issues and things got progressively worse as the years went on. That's all I had to hear to keep me away from them especially when there are so many reliable manufacturers available on the road today. For instance ,Toyota Honda ,Nissan. In that order. If you need more luxury. t Go with their high-end, Toyota's high-end is Lexus amazing vehicles. Followed by Honda right behind them they produce Acura Lastly Nissan who produces Infinity. If you buy any of those three brand new and you have any problems with them down the road send me the bill. Make sure you have all your basic maintenance done including your oil changes at the dealership to make sure that they're using original everything. Including the tooling to do the job and the technicians are trained properly. They're not your local Joe Blow mechanic learned in his father's garage.
You take that jeep over roading like that on those rocks and your air suspension will break within 6 months. When the car lifts with jeeps system, the articulation of the suspension does not increase but decreases on these jeeps. It’s a great selling show for people that doesn’t know anything but higher the car must mean it’s so much more off road capable, but it’s total bs.

Call the dealer that you purchased it from wouldn't they know? If you feel uncomfortable doing that the next step would be to do an internet search. That makes sense right as opposed to asking a stranger on RUclips that probably doesn't know his head from a hole in the wall.
