But what I actually asked was: 1): How did he go about producing IGOR’S THEME, because the drum sample (Attention by Head West), drives the whole song and gives it its groove, 2): did he get inspired by Marvin Gaye’s Is that enough because the opening to the song is similar. 3): And the last part was how does he make samples work for him, because when he samples he makes it fit the story ( Like THANK YOU from IGOR) he’s telling rather than just making a sample and laying drums and calling it a day. I got sick after attending this event but I wouldn’t replace it for anything, It gave me a lot to think about when producing my own stuff.
