I think the sexted do not disturb signs are an amazing idea 😂
Jordan's grandma used to say 'opinions are like arseholes, everyone has got one' . 😅
😆😆😆😆
Dead dog story was also on the Toni and Ryan podcast

That’s where I’d heard it!!! I was thinking it had been on Sexted before and nobody was remembering it 😂
@@dollface2917 wasn't it also found out later to be fake?
I thought it sounded familiar!
@@pipuk3 yeah, like someone else commented, it’s an urban myth. I think people got in touch with Toni & Ryan, letting them know it probably wasn’t true
I’ve heard the dead dog in a suitcase story twice before with variations-I think it’s become an urban myth.
I remember listening to that story at some point last year, I think it was on reddit or something
Same. I heard it on the Toni and Ryan podcast
I’m sorry however 8.1 billion people live on this rock…
I’m quite sure the exact senario has happened thousands of times. It is quite simply the law of CHAOS. 🎉
It was read out during a minisode on My Favorite Murder, then later they had to apologise and say it was a fake story!
I don't think there's any expectation on the scenarios being true, I'm sure the shoebox under the bed is widely accepted to be in the same category as this. What IS true though is the advice given as a result, that's the whole point of it - it makes for great content and is one of the reasons why this is one of my absolute favourite three podcasts.
William, The first mention of “Break a leg” was recorded in print by Robert Wilson Lynd in 1921. An urbane literary essayist, he wrote an article, “A Defence of Superstition,” about the prevalence of superstition in the theatre and horse racing. In the early days of theater, this is where ensemble actors were queued to perform. If actors were not performing, they had to stay behind the “leg line,” which also meant they wouldn't get paid. If you were to tell the actor to “break a leg,” you were wishing them the opportunity to perform and get paid.
Agree with William,"do not disturb " is adequate. My friend organised a group trip to the coast ,and insisted we stay at a hotel he recommended. The door label had the normal hook.plus a hole about six centimetres wide. On the side of this it said if you can fill this please enter. !.
Ewwwww what an awful sign. I'm 100% with you and William on this
@@janefortes1588 there was no locks on the doors ,l pulled a chest of drawers across the doors. We didn't sleep, checked out and went to the Hilton the next morning.
It's because of the black muffs! That's why this has become a Death Podcast 😂
Great video, Ben has the best laugh.
He laughs like my mum
Thank god for William’s high standards.
Hey Jordan & William I use to play kurby when I was younger aswell as bulldog and manhunt
Just can’t get enough of this podcast ❤ I thought the term ‘break a leg’ came as if you’d broke a leg, you’d end up ‘in a cast’ - i.e. the cast of a show?? Unsure but sounds legit😅 xx
I laughed when William said, "Break your neg and leck" but Jordan didn't pick up on it....shame
We've just celebrated our 40th anniversary too. 1984 - it was the hottest day of the year (7th July). We had morning coats but no top hats.
I had a door sign in Barcelona which read "Please disturb"
My grandfather used to work on Broadway as a Prop Master. He once told me that "Break a Leg" was more symbolic because when you break a leg you're put in a cast. So, when you wish an actor to break a leg, you are wishing that they are getting a spot in the cast.
Ironically, every newsman I've seen on US news are always in suits and ties.
the dead dog story was recounted by Toni & Ryan the 2 Aussie friends that have a podcast/radio show. Someone wrote in to them claiming it happened to them over there. They went into even more hilarious detail though,
I think its just one of "those " stories. An urban myth that get wheeled out every so often.
Half a bottle of whiskey on a train? Jordan needs to face the fact he is an alcoholic. Week after week he’s moaning about feeling bad because of drinking. He’s in his 30’s now. Its no longer cute being pissed every weekend. Wake up! You’re going to pickle yourself into oblivion.
Yous cheer me up so much 😂
I think the celebration of a divorce was at the first night of your London Palladium shows. I was there for that one. Unless you had more than one person/group celebrating, of course!
I've got a wafter in my cupboard, will have to get it out and give me a blow on the warm days.
Gentleman’s valet not butler but her could buttel with the best of them
Can you please give a microphone to Ben, so we can here him better? And let him comment on Jordan's most bizarre tales. Cheers, and thanks from Germany.
I'm with William at 9:00. you are the face of the nation for half an hour or however long it is! Wear a tie! ;-)
If your reading news. Does it really matter? I like a tie, but if reading the news and it's bad.
I am not paying attention to the news reader and don't care that there is no tie.
Not wearing a tie whilst reading the news does not signify lack of respect for the news being read.
‘They’re going to be married 40 years next year, was it 88??’ No boys, it was 1984/5 because it’s a multiple of 10 😭😭😭
Love you guys xx
Can’t beat playing curby lol and I’m divorced 7 years and celebrate every year on the day my decree absolute came through 🎉
This tie debate has me in stitches. How different the UK is compared to North America xD #moreJordan
You should not a death podcast either lmao xx
Mallows Gin today? What is your favorite gin for G&D?
Was he in the garden enclosure
Well. The Fel Ching dilemma definitely fake
The story about the dead dog in a suitcase is not true.
I hate to say that my cousins took selfies with their grandmother in an open casket. I mean, they were smiling and grinning next to their dead grandmother. They were young folks. I was shocked. Such is some of the American youth culture here. Now if they would have made a forced smile on her, that would be something. SMDH.
Quite a bit shorter than I like, but definitely quality over quantity ;)
What is felching ?
Please rerelease the potato peeler sweatshirts
Cha cha cha !
How far in advance are these shows record ascot was 2 weeks ago
Here xx
Ken Dodd’s dad’s dogs dead
Ties are a part of history that should be condemned to the bin. (And sexist.too)
How are they sexist?
@@kawaiilotus no one’s complaining the women aren’t wearing ties
@@ukzoinkswell that’s not true at all lol over here in the UK most schools have uniforms with ties and everyone has to wear them even the girls.
This podcast would be only half as funny without producer Bens laughing in the background!
