If you don’t agree with the business practice then don’t support it by giving Blizz your money. The more money they make from it the more likely that they will do this going forward.
I absolutely agree but In my position, especially for content and goldmaking, it would be very bad to not purchase the epic edition, especially considering i can use gold for it. It's almost an unbreakable tactic from a business perspective if the game is good and they know this - all the top streamers and content creators for WoW will do the exact same, maybe speak out against it but get it no matter what
Idk, I kinda think they're gonna do it regardless. Whether people buy it or not just depends on if they think it was a success or if they think the game is losing interest so they should milk every dollar they can get out of it.

Hard to say how markets are gonna perform early on, but i'll probably hold onto most of what i farm until the official launch or closer to season 1. I'm gonna focus on druids early on for sure
I quit in BFA, and I thought I would come back for the new expansion because people said Dragonflight was OK. I had my debit card out, and when I looked at the options and saw 80 dollars for 3-day access I put that shit up. If they're going to do this, and the community isn't going to fight against it, I don't care enough about the game to come back.
That's fair, but unless you are a world first raider or an extremely hardcore goldmaker - losing out on the 3-4 day early access really is not that big of a deal. I understand being against the business practice 100% but that doesn't mean the entire expansion is gonna suck. You can still just get the base editon and have a great time, but fair enough

Early Access as a business practice is a widespread industry standard that is almost unbreakable unless the game is inherently bad or starts out bad - I think it only being 3-4 days is acceptable because we don't really get locked out of any content the pre-season activities aren't also locked out of. But I understand the frustration i would also much rather not have the option for early access in any game

Actually its 27 euro difference the 90 euro edition from the 50 euro one cause you also get 30 days gametime which you would have to buy anyway if you buy the 50 euro edition in order to play.
Well there's cosmetics and gametime in the bunch of course to sweeten the deal but then it's just semantics we're talking about at that point. If someone buys that pre-order now that gametime will be added to your account now, it's not like you can save it

Majority of playerbase are not goldmakers, its only bad psychological manipulation and fomo uses on people. Please do not support this shit, it worked without this for years :D Yeah for goldmakers is it worth but as i said majority of this game are casual dads that are manipulated into almost 200% value of this game + subscription btw... (lot of these ppl who will play for 3 day earlier will end in two months anyway) So normal players dont be manipulated, play other game during weekend or older one :D wait and go online after weekend, there is no rush :)
