Kip, I HIGHLY reccomend his Godhand review. He shows what all that Patreon money goes toward and it's absolutely BASED.
I highly recommend his Starsector review 👍
I highly reccomend his evenicle Review or Kamadori alchemy meister
The part about fighting Dagoth Ur is referencing one greentext about making a potion that raised Strength too high for the game engine to compute, so the animation played and the highest durability weapon in the game broke in one hit. Forget despawning, it straight up shut down the player that wrote the text's computer.
Cat bois, moon sugar, and a day off.
Starting to sound like a better version of Sanguines quest in Skyrim.
"It goes hard." - Kip, this video.
Yes Nerevar, I and the others have been waiting for this reaction.
Morrowind is the definition of a beautifully horrific experience you can't and won't get anywhere else.
All protagonists in all Elder Scrolls games have access to Chim, because every Protagonist is the Shezarrine. There's a lot of lore about this which you may NOT have gotten into yet,, but the Shezarrine is essentially the protagonist of reality. The ability to save and reload the game, as well as the ability to pause time, open an inventory, and take actions in the inventory, are all 'techniques' within Chim, which the Shezzarine understands by instinct. The pause menu thing is called "carving time holes," and it's a form of superpowered martial arts in Elder Scrolls. It's why some battles between masters lasted weeks or months. They kept pausing to drink potions, sleep, and eat cheese wheels. Pelinel Whitestrake was also a Shezzarine, which means he's literally the protagonist of a game we never got to play.
That’s a spin-off game Bethesda *NEEDS* to make in the future
If nothing else, Nerevarine has one of the two strongest claims to it (along with CoC) too. There are 36 sermons of the stuff in fact and sermon 13 all but spells it out.
That actually wrong were not a shezarrine cause they represent lorkahn we are the prisoners people who can see and manipulate aspect of the godhead which can be technicaly called a prison
@@sunwukong1443 Being the Shezzarine means being Lorkhan's reincarnation or rather blessed by him to have the true free will to change the Godhead's dream. That's just each Elder Scrolls player character and other characters in the lore.
So to complete a quest for Crassus i had to take off all my clothes for him and talk to him.
No game made me feel more violated.
Morrowind is indeed a skooma-fueled fever dream.
enchantments are insane up to Oblivion...raided a cave of vampires and one had a 2 handed axe with a strength eating enchantment...i couldn't move and had to reload from 2 hours previous.
some days I miss the eternally-pogging catboy in the stylish bolo tie
You should see his starsector review.
A rare moment in which a reactor recognizes a game that Sseth is talking about. *enhanced experience* I also apparently never watched this video of his because my mouth was agape the whole time-
As someone who played this thing when it came out, i can say the combat system drove me insane and it's the main reason for my violent behaviors as a kid, until i finally gave in and thought "okay, they clearly didn't understand how to make combat" and proceeded to revel in its clunky ways and enjoy finding new ways to break the game.
Just to clarify, I've always been known as "bug-buster", if the game has bugs, glitches etc. i WILL experience them, almost every time, meaning morrowind crashed, froze, glitched and bugged out every.single.time for me, so i just started save-scumming for the first time in my life, although savefiles could also get corrupted so i even made backups of them on floppy disks, i think i actually have one of them with the save file before Hircine(bloodmoon expansion boss) since it bugged out.
*boasts about watching the 8 hr retrospective* i did, too, but that's bc i had premium and could listen in chunks. I love morrowind and happy to see other express that love.
I watch both morrowind and oblivion one, so around 20h. Great videos.
I played Oblivion, then Skyrim, then Morrowind. I couldn't do it. The invisible dice roll mechanic killed it for me lol
It's going to be jarring when I go back to Morrowind. I get the reasoning for the mechanics, I already have a playstyle in mind from PatricianTV's review.
OMG Planescape is one of my favorite AD&D settings. Just don’t F around with the Lady of Pain and you’ll be good to go!
The player character may or may not have CHIM. I don't hold to the theory that they do, but there's enough reasoning behind the idea that its a possible interpretation.
