It's really too bad that Randy Moss never won a Superbowl with Tom Brady because two of them had ever played together for a greater length of time together they would have won five or six Super Bowls at least and it's a shame Belichick never pulled a rabbit out of his hat with a wide receiver draft pick like moss to catch balls from Tom Brady. God I could only imagine if Tom didn't have to always throw the ball short and dink-and-dunk and actually had wide receivers who could go long and catch it on a consistent basis. Believe me I loved every Patriot player who ever caught a pass from Tom Brady you'll get no complaints from me but what if LOL

I almost forgot that Brady basically had to win the Orange Bowl 3 times, got them to the two yard line but next play was fumble on a run play at the Goal line, than he drove them down to win again doing his job setting up a very reasonable field goal that was muffed and than again in O.T. he got the winning TD and it was Justice that the extra point was missed for him and Mich. to actually finally win

No complaining, no demanding so-called rights, no claims of so-called injustice, no mental fragility, and No victim mentality! Focus only on what it takes to create opportunities and being prepared to capitalize on them when they come.
Calling him "Captain America" is fitting as he is a great example of how every real man should be leading his team, family, community and ultimately America.

  • @b66docos
    @b66docos 6 лет назад +25

I love this vid. There's one part in here that kinda brought things home for me. Tom is talking about walking around the block with his parents on draft day and he stops to take that in and he cries. He's taken a beating for that over the years, I've even thought to myself that it was a little excessive.
But now, I have a son playing D1 college ball, he's a giant, 6'6+" 315lbs (And you can't teach that (WhatUp)) and he has all through middle school, JrHigh and Highschool pour it all out on the field, got to college, I remember we all thought that he would be a starter from the day 1. He's making his first now as a JR and, how emotional just that one goal has made everyone in our whole family.
I can't even imagine the pure pain it had to be to climb the ladder Brady climbed through school, to outshine the best on that team, let alone his division and then, have it all fall apart! Mean nothing! After being told he was gonna go early. The amount of work it takes to compete in an NCAA college is unreal because you Have to work your grades above a certain average, every time you turn around, it's not just one guy you gotta beat out, at that level, there are 100 guys that can do just about everything you can and half of those guys have the same work ethic and every one of them want it as bad as you do and if at any time, you show one crack in your emotional being, your done! The players on these teams are often held to higher standards of integrity than the coaches in some cases, TFB's story is almost inhuman.
To accomplish what this guy has, I mean every guy in the NFL has climbed unsurmountable obstacles to getting there but to become the G.O.A.T!! It can't be overstated, it's UNREAL.

Spygate took place at HALFTIME WEEK ONE. Afterward, the Patriots won every game that season in record-setting fashion. Deflategate allegedly took place at halftime with the Patriots up 17-7. Once the air pressure issue was allegedly corrected, the 2nd half total was 28-0. If you're gonna vouch for any other QB, then please acknowledge their respective shortcomings. Montana went 4-0 in SBs, but his playoff performances in 1986 and 87 were flat out embarrassing. And let's not forget him being benched in 1991 and 92. John Elway was great, but he was only 2-3 in SBs. And there's also the lesser publicized controversy surrounding the late 90s Broncos and their salary cap violations. Guys like Marino, Favre, and Manning didn't win enough rings to be considered. Aikman was tremendous but for a much shorter run, so it's hard to include him in this discussion. I think we all know that Bradshaw benefited from a great defense more than anyone else on this list. So then you're pretty much left with Johnny Unitas and Otto Graham after that. And I'm sorry, but if most of your highlights aren't in color, then you can pretty much wave to the crowd and have a seat. Brady is the man. Film don't lie.

You know I always love the respect people give Dan Marino and I love watching him. I was a dolphins fan because my dad was and he was a great quarterback but he lacked the one thing that Brady had and I saw it on the field all the time he would yell and holler at his players on his team and I never liked that about him and I believe it's why he never won a Super Bowl .! Brady on the other hand rarely yelled at his players most of the time he was constantly lifting his team up and showing them the proper worth work ethic in order to win Super Bowls. Tom Brady would have won 10 Super Bowls because he gave his team the lead in the fourth quarter in all 10 Super Bowls and his defense gave the lead away in three of them

    • @keithstewart9890

You know people can complain about Marino and never winning a Superbowl and say things like he didn't have any players around him I watched Marino for a long time and if Tom Brady had had either Mark Clayton or Mark duper the so-called super duper Duo wide receiver and running back who could catch anything Marino threw at him believe me when I say this Brady would have won 15 Super Bowls with those two around him. But for one bright shining season when Randy Moss and Brady played together they broke records if they'd ever played together for 10-15 years they probably would have won 10 or 15 Superbowl

Bruce Wayne you make a good point he would have won more Super Bowls in his prime if he had better people around him but Belichick's not the genius at drafting that everybody thinks he is. He has never ever drafted 1 number one wide receiver to play alongside 1 of the greatest quarterback of all time ! that could have been the downfall LOL for Belichick even though he's won almost 10 Super Bowls LOL. So there's your answer it was all Brady because even though some of his running backs and wide receivers weren't number 1 draft picks he turned a lot of them into number one draft picks and those players won a lot of Super Bowls because they like playing with Tom Brady because he's the Real Genius not Belichick no offense coach LOL

While watching this comeback in the Orange Bowl I see where Tom Brady learned his Dink and dunk and man it's the much smarter move to make a pass that's easier to get a completion than throwing a ball as hard and as long as you can heave it and where there's a much less possibility of a catch when you do that. What's always amaze me is quarterbacks who don't throw the Dink and dunk and just throw it long they never win it's not a smart plan

For me, TOM BRADY is the GOAT! Joe Montana was the best in my book and one of the reasons I loved the 49er's as a kid. That whole team was awesome on both sides of the ball back in the 80's. However, when I saw what Brady did to Alabama in the 2000 Orange Bowl, I was hoping that he would get the chance to start when New England grabbed him. I didn't care for Bledsoe that much so when he got hurt and Brady got his opportunity, I became a fan of the Patriots and have been ever since. I still love my niners but the Pats is my other team because of Brady!

it's a team game? let me guess the 32 wins were against bad teams the 11 losses were against good teams and all of those yards
      were against bad teams.
Nobody said Drew is retiring they think he will be retiring. his records will be broken by a qb that plays an easy schedule .
you forgot the most important record the only Qb to go 16-0 and then Loose in the Superbowl?

The crazy thing is that he could have realistically won all eight of the Super Bowls he played in without it being a wild stretch or too out there and ridiculous cause he basically had a game winning drive in every Super Bowl but unfortunately in three of them there was too much time left for other team ( ie Giants and Eagles ) the Defense gave up a last drive score to end the chance, also Eagles game he had 505 yards 3 TD's 0 Int's and lost cause D literally couldn't get even one stop and then O-line crumbled and Brady got the strip sack fumble or would have scored then too to win

    • @markjefferson2434

But those same defenses also bailed him outta games. The only that you can blame is the eagles won which he had 2 chances two bring them back. The eagles the weak before had destroyed Minnesota who had a much better defense. So you can't reward him for victories then excuse him from all blame. 07 the giants only scored 17pts. New England only scored 14.Was that the defense fault? The 2nd the defense allowed the giants to score a rushing Td so he'd have time to bring them back. He simply didn't get ot done. That to me was the time to prove naysayers wrong. He didn't do it.

Anyone could easily make the argument he could’ve gone 0-8, one play could’ve literally changed all 6 wins to losses. Did he cheat? You bet he did. But he’s still the best QB ever. But Jesus are you looking at things through Brady colored glasses. LOL!! Talk about biased.

Think about this. Tom has had 2 Hall of Fame careers. 2001-2012 3 SB wins, 5 appearances 2 MVP's. 2013- 2021 4 SB wins in 5 appearances and an MVP.. Either one of his careers can stand alone as the best ever
