Is there any incentive to add more unites or replace the Desiro with red coaches, so enough people can actually get on the train? Also, I see the speed limit is now 200 km/h.
How far north does the electric go now? Can you do a video on progress with electric between Beersheba and Lod? I skipped the really long tunnel, the best bits are definitely coming out of the tunnel at Jerusalem then again onto the long bridge over the ajalon valley. Not much progress on 431 since the last video though.
There’s a small station - Dor. The electrification will go there and will be stopped until Haifa’s issue decision. Today the whole line from Lod to Ashkelon is electrified and soon will start service Ashkelon - Binyamina. They started to work on basics in Beer Sheva
Very enjoyable ride! Loved seeing those 2 tracked vehicles carrying that giant concrete truss! Here in US we have the old giant grip connecting couplers on each end of a loco or railcar. The ones on your train look to have a rod operated by the handle sliding through a couple bushings closing a gap, is there a piece to place in there before connecting another train?
Thank you Rick! This Coupling is an automatic Scharfenberg coupling. It connects also the power lines and air pipes. No piece or Men needed to connect trains. But on the freight trains we still use a screw coupling.
@@OfficialRyanx The couplers I believe on the train companies website. I wanted to know how they worked compared to ours in the US. The giant truss I would have to watch again, it is easy to miss. Somewhere near a new airport I believe and on the far left of the screen.
