Hallo Kyle, AC/DC is the most playing Music in my Car. And almost very loud. And you and the other crazy Guy are awsome. I dont know a modern Band, which play Music i like. Best wishes from Germany, Ernst. I hope you understand my Words, because it's more than 40 years ago i went to school.
in Mexico it's 2 am haha, i fucking love your covers man! im learning to play guitar and playing some ac/dc stuff with a crappy $100 dollars guitar and using bias fx, you really inspire me to keep going! lml
Thank you so much it means a lot I will keep practicing more and more and yeah you caught on to the live in Nashville lol 😂 but thank you I try to practice especially with my bends. I am thinking about doing more covers such as overdose and touch too much and if you want blood but I am astonished of your playing which inspires me so thank you for that !
Hey man, go check out this video: ruclips.net/video/dt_C6HXzcHE/видео.html This was me at 14. I was so new to everything and I was horrible at guitar soloing / improvisation. If you've ever wanted the proof that anyone can do it as long as you practice then manage to get through that whole video.
fantastic! towards the end, it sounded almost like he was playing over the guitars...to me, anyway. i don't have a great ear, but the tone that i heard sounded as if it were that of concert hall sound.
Hey man! Yeah at the end you can hear Angus's guitar bleed in the left speaker while mine is staying on the right. It's not as apparent during the rest of the song as long, but when it's more isolated like towards the end, I really have to be perfectly synced up which is definitely hard to do!
@@KyleTheGuitarGuy you're the guy that did the guitar covers of the 1977 atlantic studios concert, if i'm not mistaken. if i remember correctly, i recall loving how you cleaned that performance up and made it better.
man your the only one i have heard play mals bit the way mal plays it live at 0:59-1:12. iv been trying and i cant get it. i know its the chords E and b but he doesnt play it like the normal part on the studio version either.maybe its my timing i cant get.
Yeah on the studio version he does just the E and B with a palm mute on the E so it's a lot more static. All I'm doing is adding an extra muted note / ghost note before the E and B and I'm lettings the notes ring a little more so it's not so heavy on the muting. Timing wise if the Bass guitar and Hi hat are starting the count and it goes: [ 1 - & - 2 - & - 3 - & - 4 - & ] then the first A-E-B chords are going on the & after 4. Then once Mal goes to just the E and B, the E comes on the & after 3 and the B is on the & after 4. I'm adding the ghost notes on the 3 and 4. So the strumming is consistent 8th notes starting from the 3. Hope that helps some!
Great cover! And hey can you check out my gone shootin cover ? And give me some tips with how to solo? I’m more of a Malcom rhythm but I do lead with my dad it would mean a lot!
Hey man you did really really good on that cover. And yeah sure I can give you a few quick tips. 1) At the end of the main riff you do the little hammer on the 2nd and 3rd fret, and then you do it a second time and go back to the beginning of the riff. Well on that second time instead of hitting the D string 4th fret again, bar the 2nd fret and strum the B and E strings. It's the same two notes as the first chord of the verse, just played further down the neck. And since the riff itself starts and ends on the same note, you play the end of it on the 2nd fret and then quickly slide back out to get that slightly fatter sound. 2) When soloing, try to make sure you're in the right key. Nothing is worse than when shredding an epic solo and you accidentally hit a bad note and its obvious. And after you practice enough you can kind of find ways to recover from hitting a bad note seemlessly, but it just takes experience. It's something that just comes with practicing and learning different solos. I got my practice in by learning all the different variations of solos Angus does for certain songs. And once you get familiar with what the other guys doing, you gain knowledge of the fretboard and can apply that to your own playing. You've already got a great base for your soloing (I heard a bit of that Live '78 stuff in there haha) so just keep learning and really analyzing where on the neck you can play all the different notes, because the moment you don't have to think about it and you just know where on the neck you can play the notes you're looking for, you can basically solo anywhere. 3) Practice. Nobody likes to hear that word. Nobody wants to do it. But to improve you gotta put in the work. You gotta stay focused and determined. Don't be like me and go like 2 weeks without playing the guitar. Play every single day and keep pushing a little further each day, and then you'll look back at when you first started playing and be like "wow I really played like that at first?" because I guarantee you we've all been there. 4) Have fun. If you're not having fun playing then practicing is gonna become a chore and you're not gonna want to pick up the guitar. So even if your practice means you're just jamming with your dad or some friends, or just by yourself to some AC/DC tunes, do that. Do what you like and you'll never "practice" a day in your life.
Opening guitar chords impeckably timed...and that tone!
One of my all-time favorites, well done.

The grandson of Angus Young
hey,
is that the eastwood ac classic? if so, would you recommend it for malcolms style?
great playing by the way !!
Hey man, totally! This guitar is literally designed to be the Malcolm Young guitar on a budget.
thanks buddy. i think i'll have to get this guitar. so excited about it ;)

Is it stock pickups in the SG ?
Nope. Angus Young Signature in the bridge and a Gibson 490R in the neck.
