Great song from the Bon Scott era - They invariably used 'Live Wire' as an opener whilst touring during the late 70's. The only exception that I know of was during the Powerage Tour of 1978 when they kicked things off with 'Riff Raff'.

I've always been more of a fan of the live versions of Live Wire, but this was just kick ass. The way you blended in some live parts, like the ending, the drum part at 3:50, and the slightly open hi-hat after the solo (the stuff I personally liked about the live versions) was just awesome.There is also the cool little Cliff-like bass riffs that not a lot of people notice that make the song sound so much like it does. And not only that, but it was mixed very well too. Each instrument was very clear and distinctive, all of the instruments sounded good (the tone was on the spot), your playing was spot-on, just an overall success. Wonderful piece of work you got right there. Totally. Kick. Ass.
