Thank you for sharing that reading. Now I feel even more motivated to read this book which had been on my shelf for so long. One thing I took away was that this is not ‘a way’ this is ‘the way.’ I had kind of viewed this as one of many teachings and got bogged down when reading St. John of the Cross. But this book promises a very clear review of these two wonderful Saints’ teaching and practice which is so rooted in the Gospel. Intimate Union with the Godhead is essential to become what God wants us to be. So powerful. I look forward to discussing the book. Thank you so much for recommending it earlier. The reading was quite easy to follow and it’s a nice accelerant into the book itself so that we could help ‘spread the fire’ of the Good News throughout the earth!
"To be filled with all the fullness of God...." This Destiny which God has intended for us hit me full force recently while reading something written by St. Thomas Aquinas. I was indeed bewildered by it and flooded with such light that I could scarcely grasp what it implied. Now hearing it addressed in Father's book has reinforced that this is truly what God intends for us and it is overwhelming in the magnitude of what it implies.... What a God have we!... and what infinite love He has for His mere creatures to wish to share so much of His Divine Life with us....!!! May He be praised, adored and glorified forever!
@@standupstathentes6842 I was so flooded with an unutterable intellectual/spiritual light and realization...and it was just a "glimpse"...about all that could mean.... that God wants to make us God-like by a full outpouring of His life into our souls that I was rendered speechless, stunned and overwhelmed. It's beyond words....and I've been praying about it ever since; then heard more about it in the first Chapter of Fire Within which you read. What God intends for us is unimaginable....His largesse and love are beyond all mortal comprehension. Thank you!
