I was experiencing alot of breakage and I clipped my ends and started moisturizing with the aloe plant EVERYDAY without rinsing and I haven't been experiencing any further breakage
Add essential oils to tame the odor. I followed another video and that was her solution. Or boil lemon or orange peel. It make it smell much better. Thank me.😊
Wow that's dope! You can send some my way because I love this stuff…lol. No but you are extremely lucky you get yours fresh. Sometimes the ones at the grocery store looks worn out and old and you don't know how long they had them, but you just try your best to pick the best one out of the options given😕
I used aloe vera last weekend on my wash day and I got no breakage. Normally, I'd see little balls of hair when I wash but not that time so it's a keeper!
If you haven't already I think you should cut the damaged ends yourself. I did it for my own semi-big chop about 2 years ago and it was soooo worth it. I watched some natural videos about cutting my hair to prepare, 2 years later and my curls are flourishing!
Currently running to the grocery store to grab aloe vera…lol. This was so helpful and satisfying to watch. Going to try it tomorrow on my day off. Thanks for sharing :-)

Aloe Vera is sooooo good. I can't even stress how good this is. If you eat is it has so many benefits. I'm not even over exaggerating at all. Look up on all the benefits. I have a couple in my back yard. And you can tell it's amazing because if you break off a piece one of the tips(which you are not supposed to do you are suppose to break the whole leaf off) it grows back.
I have to agree. We've been using aloe vera in my family for so long for multiple things. It's benefits are endless whether you're consuming it orally or using it on the skin or hair, it's healing powers are truly amazing. Plus it feels extremely good no matter where you apply it on the skin, which is an added bonus😜
Thank you so much for sharing this video! I just started using aloe vera this week and already see such a big difference. I have alopecia and my hair sheds and breaks a lot, so hopefully by doing what I've seen you do in this video, I can finally grow my hair back. Thank you so much and God bless you.
Thank you so much for sharing. This treatment is so needed in my house with 4 ....(5 counting husband's) head to take care of. I just bought a leaf of aloe vera today thinking of facial mask. I should have grabbed at least 2 more!!
Love this! Yes it would be a good idea to go to a professional and chop off the perm ends, they take away from the healthy look of the rest of your hair. Thanks for sharing!!
wow thanks I use the aloe on my skin not hair but will definatly try it. I use the black Castor Oil, Shea butter oil, coconut oil, olive oil and Vitamin E oil. I just started growing my natural hair so I am trying some new things. Thanks for video.
You're most welcome love. Experimenting with your hair is so fun, so keep the curiosity juices flowing! This is the best way to find out what your hair likes and doesn't like😉
Thank you so much for saying the benefits Aloe Vera provides, I have dandruff so, I will try this method to reduce my dandruff 🙂 and get all the benefits it provides for my hair 😊
Hi .. love your video...i just did your method on my hair ..love it ..am seeing how my curls are popping out... I used coconut oil.. avacado oil...grape seed oil ...
Wow! This was super informative and helpful. I wish I had had guidance like this back in 2003 when I was transitioning. Needless to say, my transition was short, lol. But once the permed ends were gone, my hair grew like crazy!
I feel like this actually helped me cause I've been trying to find natural products to use in my hair that would be health for my hair and for more hair growth
Yay! I'm so happy to hear that and yeah this treatment is so beneficial for your hair and feels so good so I'm sure you'll love it. I've been using it throughout my transition to natural hair and my hair grew out so fast. Definitely give it a try, if you haven't done so already😉
This is the most well explained to the point perfect loaded video. Especially when you pointed out that coconut oil can be drying for some people; to use jojoba oil (my hair LOVES jojoba). A new subscriber with notifications for sure👏🏽❤️
To go for a trim or not at a salon, that is the question. It depends, you can control how much gets cut off. At the salon they tend to want to go higher and higher if they see a split end.
Of course love, that's what I'm here for! So happy you found this video helpful. Definitely give it a try; this treatment is super refreshing and beneficial not only for your skin as you mentioned, but your hair too 😌
OMG my hair loooves fresh aloe vera. This is definitely going to be part of my regular regime. It detangled my hair like it was nothing! thank you for sharing this..lifesaver for sure!
Good hair advice aside, had a BLEH morning and wasn't feeling the start of this day, but you made my day with your energy and I'm getting some of aloe asap, thanks hon!
Great information just started using aloe vera around my hairline and starting to see results within a week no lie iam going to start using it as you recommended but wanted to know do you leave in or do you rinse it out or is it like a leave in conditioner
How long do you keep the Aloe Vera oil in your hair before you wash your hair? can you leave it in overnight? Great video and you have a beautiful smile. Thanks
Ok, nevermind I read some other comments and this is a good idea because my hair is dry after I shampoo. I also use a lot of oils, not coconut because my hair products contain coconut oil. My hardens with too much coconut. I am going to start this next week. Thanks for the video!!
PSA: Don't blend the entire plant!!! It will cause the gel to mix with the seeds and leave white pieces in your hair, which you will be picking out for weeks. That happened to me a few months ago. Awful. The best way to get the aloe mix that you can apply with an applicator brush it is to let the blocks of cut Aloe soak in water to create a water/gel mix. It works well.
Love it!!! I need something like that beautiful hair..yesss Thank you so much that will be my hair treatment from now on the aloe plant in the coconut in a almond and a grape seed not expensive at all
Get your hair to your goal length before completely cutting them all off. Your straight ends will prevent them from curling upon themselves and getting single strand knots. Look at a gob of do-it- yourself hair trimming videos and carefully do it yourself. Most stylists are scissor happy. I don't care how much you like them and are related to them by blood. They aren't thinking about how much time, love, energy, and care that you've invested into your beautiful hair. Jealousy doesn't have particular genetic code. I wish you continued success!!You are doing great job!😊😊😊
I must say that was a lot of work for the end result. Your hair looked beautiful before the treatment to me. I'm sure it must look and feel amazing in person but seems like way to many oils that do the same thing. Thanks for sharing, I'm looking for a good natural conditioner. Perms, age, Meds they all have my really good naturally watery hair pretty damaged. I know aloe is good so maybe I will consider the real deal and purchase a leaf.
This girl deserves way more likes+subs her videos are so benefiting and amazing thank u so much for this video this is the first time of me seeing ur channel ur so pretty and ur videos are amazing keep up the good work ❤️
Awsome video I'm going to try this. Grease does not work for my hair it dries it out. I'm tired of dry hair. I'm going natural and have no idea what to do with it. Thank you so much👍😍
Your most welcome beautiful, so glad you you enjoyed it! Congrats on making the decision to become natural. Maintaining moisture is key when making the switch over to natural, so I know you and your hair are going to enjoy this treatment. It's super hydrating and it feels so bomb.😉
Hey love, I have another question.....I made this gel for myself and my daughter. My curls are popping and beautiful. The only downside is it flakes in my hair. I want to use this as a hair gel. Please help!
thank you so much for the tips! I cant wait to try them. I think you should cut the heat damage yourself because it doesn't look right with the curls.:)
Thank you love! Try adding apple juice, orange juice or any sweet fruit juice to it. Even a bit of honey should help make it less bitter. Hope this helps!
Hey love, I left this in my hair overnight and washed it out the next day during my wash day routine. No, I didn't sit under a dryer, however, if you're pressed for time and need to wash your hair the same day, a dryer works great. Sitting under a dryer for 15 to 20 minutes should do the trick. Hope this helps!
Hahaha, I hear you girl…lol and yayyy thanks for the support love. This aloe treatment is so bomb. You and your beautiful newly found natural hair are going to have a ball with it. Enjoy!😘
Thank you I had a boo boo! A hit & run driver! Nervous unable to take care of hair, it was too my shoulders, fell out and broke off! Thank you for another answer to get my hair back to health! #hairbytheFATHER
What I see here is that ALOE VERA can do amazing things to FULLY NATURAL hair but it doesn't FIX relaxed or damaged hair the way the Protein treatment from your other video did. The Apogee brought back your curl pattern to the most STRANDS (actually damn near ALL of them), leaving only the ENDS still STRAIGHT while this seem to do nothing for those same strands. That's good to know, because you should know the LIMITS of what Natural REPAIR techniques can do for you. Excellent video, thank you Baby girl! (Excuse my French, lol!)
You know you could buy one of those silver bullet blenders with blending cups with lids to blend up your aloe Vera with different oils for hair treatments and also make your own 100% natural skin care production and store everything in those cups with lids in a refrigerator? Hope the idea helps
Wow, thanks for this love. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this yet but it sounds like it's right up my alley. Thanks for sharing, I'll definitely look into it. You're awesome😘
I curious as to how this penetrates the hair shaft when used before washing? Your hair may already have tons of product on it by the time wash day comes around (I know mine's would) so how does plooping more stuff on the hair help? I feel like this would be much more beneficial after washing, can you explain why this is a pre-poo and not a deep conditioner to me please?
Hey love, honestly I think it really depends on what your hair needs. My hair used to be extremely dry and shed a lot after shampooing it, due to the harsh surfactants used in shampoos to dissolve oil in your hair. By adding aloe vera gel to your hair beforehand, it can help reduce the pH of the shampoo while the oils in this treatment work to reduce the shampoo’s ability to remove or strip your hair and scalp of it’s natural oils, therefore making the shampoo gentler on the hair. Since aloe vera gel has a high water content, it will penetrate the hair shaft and seal in moisture, regardless of product build-up. This treatment is a pre-poo, and not a deep conditioner because it’s purpose is not to mend cracks and flaws from damaged hair, but to prevent moisture from escaping while adding extra moisture to your hair, during your wash day routine. Since I started pre-pooing, I have experienced less breakage and shedding, plus my hair is easier to detangle, which makes washing and conditioning my hair so much easier. Hope this helps!
Bella Mecia So... question. Since this is like a pre poo, how long did you leave it on before you washed your hair? Also, did you reapply the oils after you washed & conditioned your hair?
Hey love, I left this treatment in my hair overnight and washed it out the following day before continuing with my regular wash day routine. Also I did not reapply the oils after I washed and conditioned my hair. Hope this helps!
Trena Scroggins. I found them at a Hispanic grocery store a couple days ago. I had been looking for them for months and just happened to go to the Hispanic grocery store for some items and bam! there they were
Hey love, I leave this treatment in my hair overnight and wash it out the next day during my wash day routine. I wouldn't recommend leaving this treatment in your hair all day because over time it will start to develop a smelly odor since it is straight from the plant source. Aloe Vera leaves have two liquids inside and one is a smelly yellow sap that is found in the cells right next to the outer rind of the leaf. However, I find that if you use aloe vera gel/ juice from the bottle, and dilute it with water, vegetable glycerin and your favorite essential oil, it will make a bomb leave in conditioner. Hope this helps!
I know. I'm going to give it a try for some reason I'mhaving a hard time getting my hair to grow back out since I cut it 2 months ago thanks for all the tips
Living in the Caribbean aloes are EXTREMELY easy to come across. They're literally EVERYWHERE!
Yes girl, everywhere
Even in NYC where many Caribbean people live, they’re very cheap in all the markets and bodegas very cheap.
EXACTLY
In everybody's back yard

Add essential oils to tame the odor. I followed another video and that was her solution. Or boil lemon or orange peel. It make it smell much better. Thank me.😊
Lmao right I was like Ik you not musty to my kid and she was like I literally showered before you started doing this lmao

Bella Mecia. How can u prepare aloe Vera as a drink that's not so bitter. I know it's good for u but I can't stomach the bitterness.
Help!!!
Happy Women Mix it with a fruit drink.
@@nonenone4265 I blend it up with fresh fruit and a little lemon juice and dot of honey to cut it. It's really good with mango.

I actually had just washed my hair with the aloe vera plant! And used the leftover for my face. A miracle plant for internal and external. 💕

Minimal Assembly she shampooed and condition her hair after.
Minimal Assembly How long do you soak the pieces in water? Do you blend or strain the mixture afterwards?

You're most welcome love, definitely don't be a stranger!🤗😘
Is it best to wash your hair before the treatment if you have products in your hair?
Beautiful Sis your curls are Poppin💖🙌💖😍😍😍
Can you do this with only aloe vera and coconut oil? I ordered a growth oil but its gonna take a while to come so I'm doing this treatment for now.
Thanks for this. Do you wash it out also can I wear this all day. Thanks and take care.
Thanks:0)
I’m considering transitioning. Can I start by using the aloe regimen?
