Daffodil: oh, this Disney... power! tex: what this isn't o ninguno? Daffodil: tex?! what are you doing? tex: well, not ready go back, to whatever me, (hahaha!!) ok, ok, now going down letra what if, this character is it would be silly, puppy l'm sure she's great but you, again, Daffodil: uhh, no. tex: (crying) 😭😭😭 Daffodil: no, no, no, no, no, don't cry, we me,
The Laserdisc of Toy Story is stunning. Its still the comes closest to how it looked in 35mm cinemas when I saw it. Of course for clarity and resolution the DVD wins but the clinical look of the complete digital transfer loses its film stock warmth and bombastic filmy colors
Yeah, you probably need to wear headphones to hear the sounds properly, because when Tex is fixing the logo, he was in the right and the left sides of the screen.
Here is what I think the opening to the deluxe edition of Toy Story laserdisc: 1. Green FBI warnings screens 2. Walt Disney home video logo 3. THX Tex trailer 4. Walt Disney pictures logo 5. Start of the movie. That's all.
Not just scary. Petrifing nightmare fuel. That shit was literally the bane of my existence as a kid. I was an easily scared kid. don’t judge me. and don’t even get me started on that abc Saturday morning promo that the 1995 vhs of Toy Story had. Trauma induced uncanny valley anyone?☠️
THX 4 Posting this Eivind ! Only wish I had the CAV Box set. I own the CLV Extended Play version. If, by chance, you also happen to own that copy, I was wondering if you might could upload a short 30 second clip ( transferred @ a high bit rate, of course, and yes I know RUclips here has it's limits ) from those disc - that would demo / show if there was any perceivable difference in the picture quality between the two versions of that release ?
yep because it was before dvd came out dvd was introduced in 1996 i think so toy story was on vhs and laser disc my my family had a vcr just not laser disc just saying
@Tammi McDaniel Okay, thanks for the info, but is it true that when Toy Story and A Bug's Life first came out at the movies, they were released in 35mm print?
why in the world does people think this is fake? why would one even bother to make a fake tex laserdisc-intro.. jebus, it's real. just check the laserdisc database and its all written there.

That Walt Disney opening is so nostalgic...
Yes

DISNEY
What about Blu Ray?
A full 35mm HD transfer of the movie would be the holy grail for me. :D
Hi in 1996 they first produced Tex
The nostalgia
THX es una prueba de sonido que se les hacen a las películas, además yo tenia la película Toy Story 1 y antes de reproducir esa película salia THX.
Prefiero esto que dolby XD
While Tex was fixing the THX logo, I heard the BOOM BOOM BOOM and WHIR WHIRRRR messed up.
Yeah, you probably need to wear headphones to hear the sounds properly, because when Tex is fixing the logo, he was in the right and the left sides of the screen.
I can hear just fine
blue boy 👦🏻 can you be one ☝️ of my subscribers
@blue boy I subscribed to your channel
Interesting that they altered the Tex trailer for this LD release only. Looks a little cheap how "Laserdisc" looks under THX though.
Only the Toy Story with DTS 5.1 had this THX tex logo included. The others with Dolby Digital didn't.
Actually only the CAV boxset edition had it, the standard DTS and Dolby releases both had the regular THX intro
This is the CAV version, the other version has the Broadway THX logo
I noticed with the laser disc variant of this logo, when Tex flies away, it's more quiet.
Here is what I think the opening to the deluxe edition of Toy Story laserdisc:
1. Green FBI warnings screens
2. Walt Disney home video logo
3. THX Tex trailer
4. Walt Disney pictures logo
5. Start of the movie.
That's all.
The regular release of The Toy Story laserdisc has the regular thx laserdisc logo and the cav release has the one with Tex robot.
What's CAV exactly?
@@StephenPhillips a higher quality version of the laser disc format
the WDHV logo looks HD!
Cartoons looks pretty good on LaserDisc, though it is only 480p :)
Toy Story 2000 DVD
Who else here thinks that the Walt Disney Home Video logo was Creepy when they were younger?

This is the ONLY Laserdisc that uses the THX “Tex” trailer.
Correct.
Same
That's right!

Hey. That's the first time the THX Tex trailer is seen with "LASERDISC" below. Maybe was a THX Laserdisc version of the Tex trailer.

Wasn't this THX logo also seen at the theatrical release of Toy Story as well?
@Tammi McDaniel Okay, thanks for the info, but is it true that when Toy Story and A Bug's Life first came out at the movies, they were released in 35mm print?
no, the theatrical release either uses broadway or cimarron or grand.
Yes😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
