I wanted to like the game. Many tanks are fun to play (I personally love the Swede TD line and the history behind them) but man, they just can't find the sweet spot to balance premium ammo and Matchmaker. Honesty I love the frontlines battle mode because it's way more laid back than last team standing random battles. Just grab a tank and shoot shit. Kinda why I wish there was a deathmatch mode in the game. Frontlines is the closest. Only time I play now.
As a scout driver, I heal my radioman almost every time, as situational awareness is only active when he's not injured. He also boosts camo and repair speed when skilled

Why the tiger advanced in that scene... well they had to "get closer" so the americans could kill it... If the tiger had stayed back it could have oneshotted all 3 Sherman.
however, the movie is also unrealistic cuz Sherman E8 should be able to penerate a Tiger's frontal armor in such a close distance. So i guess the flaws balanced out
The IS-3 came out only 2 years after the Tiger and from an IRL standpoint has much more modern armor protection, while russian tank destroyers form the SU-100 up were just as effective against tigers IRL as they are in WoT. Likewise tanks like the Firefly and the Pershing helped to render the Tiger's strong armor protection obsolete. Many Tigers and noted Tiger aces began dying off pretty quickly from '44 onward once the Allies belatedly started to actually field better weapons against them, which they delayed doing for so long previously. IS-2s and the few Pershings that saw action could frequently engage them on an equal footing and ISU-152s could pretty reliably destroy literally anything they managed to hit, but Fireflies were particularly reliable Tiger killers. Hellcats were also capable of rapidly flanking and penetrating Tiger tanks without much difficulty. It was the standard issue tanks like Shermans and T-34-76s which were no good against Tigers to begin with and which bore the brunt of most encounters prior to and after 1944. But Tigers were nothing close to 20 years ahead of their time IRL and their effectiveness was due way more to other factors and had way less to do with their actual design than they're often given credit for.
It was unreliable, more due to supply-issues than design, but what really killed them off at the end of the war was Ground Attack planes and massed Tank Destroyers working together with artillery support. Fuckers were terrifying in an ambush.

wrong and wrong look it up russia fucked germany up at the battle of kursk the biggest tank battle in history and the germans only killed a small handful where the germans lost over 200 tanks. oh yeah and also the famous tiger tank was not a good tank it was to heavy, the engine couldnt handle running for more than 10 miles with out some kind of maintenance. stop idolizing a nation and talking them up about their military when they never started building better tanks till after they captured Russian tanks to find out how they built them. the only part of the german military was superior where their flak division and the Luftwaffe other than that they hardly used tanks unless they where taking out bunkers or to engage on other tanks
yea, i learned that after i bought my Tiger :( it turns out having 200m for frontal armor is nice but, fuckin useless entirely. especially when for some reason 60% of the games put you at bottom tier, vs tier 9 mediums and lights that can drive circles around you, pierce all armor at all angles, and fire 100x faster then you. its hilarious, so i usually drive into a lake and dont give them the satisfaction of a free kill. :3

Anyone with a brain lmao? in an instance like that with others spotting for you it's not needed, but the commander has a pretty big role in tank... you lose 10% of all crew base skills without him (longer reload, worse accuracy etc.)

If the tiger had stayed back it could have oneshotted all 3 Sherman.

Still, he doesn't need to advance once he is out of the smoke
however, the movie is also unrealistic cuz Sherman E8 should be able to penerate a Tiger's frontal armor in such a close distance. So i guess the flaws balanced out

in real world the tiger was a beast in wot , not so much and they match it with russian tanks they came like 20 years after it
The IS-3 came out only 2 years after the Tiger and from an IRL standpoint has much more modern armor protection, while russian tank destroyers form the SU-100 up were just as effective against tigers IRL as they are in WoT. Likewise tanks like the Firefly and the Pershing helped to render the Tiger's strong armor protection obsolete. Many Tigers and noted Tiger aces began dying off pretty quickly from '44 onward once the Allies belatedly started to actually field better weapons against them, which they delayed doing for so long previously. IS-2s and the few Pershings that saw action could frequently engage them on an equal footing and ISU-152s could pretty reliably destroy literally anything they managed to hit, but Fireflies were particularly reliable Tiger killers. Hellcats were also capable of rapidly flanking and penetrating Tiger tanks without much difficulty.
It was the standard issue tanks like Shermans and T-34-76s which were no good against Tigers to begin with and which bore the brunt of most encounters prior to and after 1944. But Tigers were nothing close to 20 years ahead of their time IRL and their effectiveness was due way more to other factors and had way less to do with their actual design than they're often given credit for.

It was unreliable, more due to supply-issues than design, but what really killed them off at the end of the war was Ground Attack planes and massed Tank Destroyers working together with artillery support. Fuckers were terrifying in an ambush.

And, I'd love to see some sources how Hellcats & Fireflies were "particularly reliable" on taking out Tigers, and how Hellcats flanked and took out Tigers, "With ease".

Actually in WW2 German tanks where almost completely superior at the time.
wrong and wrong look it up russia fucked germany up at the battle of kursk the biggest tank battle in history and the germans only killed a small handful where the germans lost over 200 tanks. oh yeah and also the famous tiger tank was not a good tank it was to heavy, the engine couldnt handle running for more than 10 miles with out some kind of maintenance. stop idolizing a nation and talking them up about their military when they never started building better tanks till after they captured Russian tanks to find out how they built them. the only part of the german military was superior where their flak division and the Luftwaffe other than that they hardly used tanks unless they where taking out bunkers or to engage on other tanks
yea, i learned that after i bought my Tiger :( it turns out having 200m for frontal armor is nice but, fuckin useless entirely. especially when for some reason 60% of the games put you at bottom tier, vs tier 9 mediums and lights that can drive circles around you, pierce all armor at all angles, and fire 100x faster then you. its hilarious, so i usually drive into a lake and dont give them the satisfaction of a free kill. :3
