Soal your colour pencil in hot water so you break the wax and your colour become more pigmented

I would really like to thank you, because with your "tips to improve your art" videos and videos that help you color better with colored pencils, which helped me a lot and made my drawings look much better than before, you are amazing
So uh basically I'm thinking of buying ohuhu markers after I become good with drawing. Bcz it would just be a waste of If i bought them now. And I heard A4 size printing paper isn't tht good to use those markers on (I have tons of those papers) and I've searched "Strathmore bristol 300 series" on online shops but like it's kinda expensive for a few sheets. So are ther any other alternatives?
You can also check out ohuhu marker papers or moleskine sketchbook. They work really well with markers
