This is going to be a very big help for me. But I only have two questions. One how do you decide proportions and secondly what could be the best thing for sketching to improve
Once you start sketching a lot, you'll start understanding the proportions. I would say learning basic anatomy, perspective sketch, drawing postures using shapes are few exercises that may help you improve

@@Prafulart I am a left handed person ( if u didn't know , we have to twist our whole arm.../) Its hard for us to move our whole hand for a long stroke... Any tips regarding that ?

I'm glad there was a tip about color pencils used for sketching. I would often be hesitant about it since there are actual red and blue pencils more specific for sketching but now, I feel a lot more comfortable and confident to use regular color pencil. Perfect timing too since I got a fresh new sketchbook

Yes, but make sure that you're not applying too much pressure on the color pencil while sketching

Thanks! Yes, they are erasable..just keep in mind to not apply too much pressure on the pencil while you're sketching

Any works fine that fits your budget🤷♂️, if you’re stil learning try using crayola or any well known durable, cheap and pigmented colors

I just noticed a few weeks ago I bought Bristol VELLUM paper instead of Bristol SMOOTH. What’s the difference? How does it affect colouring?
Bristol vellum surface is a bit rough and works nicely with colored pencils. The Bristol smooth is great for markers usage

6 years of practicing Art gone to waste. Countless artworks copied, nothing learned, i tried studying while copying it didnt do shit, tried doing imagination sketches and all of them turned out like a fucking donkey, countless papers ripped in frustration. I have lost almost all my hope in becoming an artist. If anyone has some actual good art tips i can use please tell me...
