I have a habit of watching any video that RUclips recommends with less than 1000 views. It is my way of helping the smaller channels. Keep up the good work!
Must feel nice to have the first LCI model year of an M car. I did that when I first bought my 2018 M4 LCI when it first came out. Have a 2020 M4 now and am really looking at adding a pre-LCI G82 to my garage. Enjoy the ride. The front headlights are amazing in my opinion.
Excuse my dumb question…but how do you force the valves while stock in comfort setting? I thought the valves only begin to open when you put the car into sport mode and then fully opens in sport+.
The oem valves never truly open 100%. The maximum they open is 70% and that is only under full throttle and in sport + … then it just goes back to sounding quiet The SST valve is a plug and play module that plugs into the oem actuator and overrides the stock mechanism and allows you to stay always open or closed with the click of the SST controller
W install i wouldn't trust myself doing any work on my car i feel like it would blow up. But i seen someone install a German Car Accessories exhaust and sounded good no rasp.
Good question! Absolutely nothing except a price tag that is double that of SST. I was initially going to purchase the Dahler but after looking up all the reviews of both … I went with SST … SST is made in Germany
I think I’m alright with the audio so far … for some reason I was expecting worse haha. I heard they are better than pre lci. Let me know if you end up going the Bav route !
When you leave the valves fully open, do you get any drone at any rpm? I had one on my Audi RS5 and it would drone bad around 2.5k rpm. Now I want to do this to my G80.
I know exactly what you’re describing haha the funny part is I was HOPING for a little bit of drone just so It can feel like a nice exhaust setup. It does not drone bad at all it’s very slight but that is expected since valves remain open. Car felt like it was missing something without that 😂
@@chrisburry8147I’m low key thinking the same!!! I can’t decide bro MAD single midpipe or just go with a full exhaust set up haha. It may be plenty loud with just the MAD midpipe
@@Automaz_ full exhausts are $$$ I think I'm going to try the midpipe and valve controller first. I think that might be good enough for me. The G80 is a daily driver for me so I don't want it to be too crazy loud!
Just wondering what job you have to afford a 115k BMW. What is causing the the exhaust not changes? It's either opened or closed so it should be only 2 different sounds. Pretty expensive little mod.
I thought about it ! Some people are saying it doesn’t sound too good on the S58. It’s hard to get a good idea of what it’ll sound like through video 😑
@@Automaz_ yeah....even bimmer owners having the same problems like the rest of us who drive other brands, trying to figure put how the exhaust really sounds. But all I know is that they really have a trumpet kind of tone without the rasp and drone....there is a video with a white gtr with the FI exhaust system and I fell in love ever since.

Appreciate it ! I just checked out your channel … man I cannot believe you built an electric super car. What in the world that’s so cool 🤯🤯🤯
I'm going to start calling you the point man. Trying everything first. Leading the way.
I appreciate that bro! Huge compliment haha hopefully I can keep bringing you some more car content !
The smile on your face said it all!!
Thanks bro !! 😁😁

Nice ! I ended up going with the MAD resonated midpipe and am extremely happy with the note
@@Automaz_ I'll probably go the same route after I get the SST installed. Nice vid!
I’ll be getting the MAD axleback installed in the next couple of days so I’ll make a video with the entire setup
@civrev thanks !!
In response to your feedback request I must say you’ve got to install the akrapovic titanium exhaust!
I’ll check out some sound clips of the Akra! Thanks for the rec !
Great vids! Just wondering what license plate frame that is you have? Thanks!

@@Automaz_ are you in germany how it takes 2 months 😳?

I’ll have to check it out ! Exhaust work and suspension work … I take it to a shop haha don’t want to deal with that either 😂
Whats the difference between a dahler and sst?

Are you planning any audio upgrades? I’m considering Bavsound. Stock speakers are shite, at least so far (I hear they get better with time)

I work in corporate strategy. Exhaust note changes with rpm changes 🏎️🏎️
