Liked all your denim get up here. I was gonna wear a dark navy denim top and bottom to a gathering and look like prisoner or a 1920s oil sand worker. But I think I'll go with a khakee bottom, dressshoe and the navy denim top. I liked how you have folded cuffs, definitely looks better.

4:32 Even aside from dressing more casually vs. formally, I only recently realized how great it can be that shoes are something you can change out throughout the day, without creating more laundry. Another common example is when it gets colder at night, the jacket I add may very much influence the shoes I'd then ideally wear. That said, I have a tendency to echo my shoe's colors in accents like a longer side-tucked undershirt or a bandana in my bun, I don't wanna put in the effort to swap those out, nor create extra laundry, but if it's just easily replaced accessories or outer layers, it's very flexible. I've even seen people pull off matching denim btw., but that's definitely a move, only works when it looks really deliberately stylish with cuts that make it interesting imo, I'm personally usually that way whether it's denim or not.
I'm 44 and went to my first music festival this year. I will be going a lot more but women on the internet are saying that middle aged men are not allowed to wear band shirts/graphic tshirts. What is the final word on that? It would be nice to forget my age and wear bands that play music that helped me get through difficult times through the years. Especially now that I know so much more about proper fit, good tailoring, matching, classic iconic styles, so many jackets that I have acquired, etc. If I really like the band shirt, I would tailor it to make it fit like a perfectly fitted shirt though. Any thoughts from my wonderful community members????
Levi's would be one of my first choices and keep it classic before I go to raw or selvedge denim jackets... keep it classic. I'm just not interested in wearing any other brand for budget denim jackets.
