You guys are great. I never was interested in hunting till my son asked me about it and I didn't want some other man teaching my kids it should be a father and son experience so started watching RUclips on hunting and came across hushlife and have watch them ever since. I was 27 and had no one to show me the ropes. In 2015 took my first whitetail 8 point. And 2 years later now I have two kids one 8 one 11 and my wife all have hunted for the first time this year and I'm happy to say my 8 year old took his first deer [doe] my 11 year old son took his first deer [8 point] and my wife took her first deer [doe] and was there in the stand for all 3. All 3 moments I will keep close foryever. I give a big thanks to hushlife for there videos that helped me get to where I am today and thank you all for the brother hood amongst hunters and kindness and most of all your video that my family watch daily. P.s sorry for the long post.
You guys are doing a wicked job showing what it takes to harvest a bull for new hunters. I have seen so many hunters get discouraged that they come so close so many times and it doesn’t happen. In my experience it takes many times to make it happen. It’s awesome that Trent doesn’t let the lows get him down! He’s always got a smile on his face and says how awesome it all is. This series is awesome to show what it takes. It’s all about the experience of the hunt, not the taking an animal in itself!
I usually skip through videos to the interesting parts. The thing about this series is that I haven’t skipped a single second. You guys are amazing. Keep trekking. 🦌 🏹 ⛰
Ok you guys owe me a new tv I just sent an arrow through it! Maybe I'm getting too into this series! Haha feels like I'm right there with you guys! Awesome!! 👍🇺🇸
My son loves watching you guys! Last night we didn't get to watch the latest Land of the Free episode until later in the evening, past beds time for the kids. My son was broken hearted when he had to go to sleep without watching! So, first thing this morning we are binge watching BRO Channel! Thank you all for sharing the highs and lows of your adventures!
You guys have caught on to something no other show out there is doing. You have great content to start with but what makes your product better is the genuine comedy, your selflessness, it's informative without sounding or acting pompous, your humility and honesty. It's not over produced, it's real, the good, the bad and the ugly. Keep it up, Picking up my bow after 10 years and going back to archery next year with my 50 year old knees DAMN!!!!
You saw the biggest bull of the series thus far. You are pairing up well with Dirk and the calling is really interesting. I loved the way he kept stepping on the screams of the bull, cutting him off. It seemed to peak his interest.
You guys should seriously have your own show. I look forward every day to watch the next episode. Thank you guys so much for takings us with you on your hunts. Awesome
Planning my first bow hunt with a bow in late season Washington. Never hunted them and found your first of this series when I was watching elk videos. Happened to be actual first day of upload. Have watched everyday since and quite a few of your other videos. Awesome series. Learning lots and also love the day by Day way you are doing it.
You guys have changed my life with your hunting series Land of the free. I love everything about bowhunting and I'm so keen to shoot my new bow. It's all been made possible by you guys. Love yer work guys
Man you have one heck of a go so far with these bulls!! I hope to see you stick one Trent. You have more than earned it!! I love getting a laugh with every episode!
I have had a ton of plantars warts in the past and they are really painful when hiking/hunting. I shaved the skin buildup on them daily with a cheap razor and my Dr suggested using Duct Tape over the whole area. Change it every couple days for several weeks or a month. It either smothers the wort or there is something in the addhesive that suppresses and the wort will go away. Try it out...way better then deep surgery. Love your show and hope this helpful tip works for you! Good luck Andy Hanks
You guys are awesome! How do you keep your composure when you see a big bull like the one shown today? Your brotherhood is what makes great memories! Bill
You guys are the highlight of the day. My wife watched yesterday’s episode and then got mad at me when I started today’s episode without her! Awesome videos!!!
Are you guys going to use the song "wrecking ball" at any time!? Ha ha! Love your work, thanks again! Love the video of the elk stalking in the burnt timber, so awesome.
I love the banter/interaction.. is exactly how it is on the mountain. I love how you guys are so real and so unscripted. Telling the story how it was, now how you want it to look. Keep it up guys, we appreciate your hard work!
Man the uncut is so great. Made right call on no shot man. Value of Emma has increased from watt removal. Time for the Okie Doke Shuffle instead of Cat Road now 👍🏻
Hey you knock the yoga thing but the trails crew I was on this summer would do a yoga sesh every morning before hiking and clearing trails... it was unbelievable how much it loosened me up all day, I was thinking it might transfer over to hunting camp as well but we will see!
Once again top notch footage and great episode 👍 looks like u had a blast. Definitely see why them guys are world champion callers. Can't wait till tomorrow's episode
That guy Dirk is an awesome morale raiser! Never seemed frustrated either? Thank you for answering noise questions too. Oh and the bacon, Nutella, honey wraps are great for baiting bears in Colorado. I hope you’re carrying a 10mm? Why did you stop wearing ASAT? sponsor?
Hate you didn't get the bull but it's good to see the elk treating the pros the same way they do me! In an odd way it gives me more confidence. Thanks again, you guys are awesome!
Trent you are in my eyes, the backbone of Born and Raised and I do believe without your sense of humour and on camera banter this series wouldn't be half as good as it is. Your a gooden
Doing a bit of a remodel on my house this week and fell behind a few episodes. 3 shows in tonight and I'm back up to speed. Just all around proud to see a couple of real good guys representing hunting the way I see it. Keep up the good work, this project will be one talked about for years to come.
Awesome content guys! You guys capture the brotherhood and teamwork rarely seen outside some professions. Watching you guys chase them Rosie’s and Rockies are giving me hope for next September!
2 dislikes did your finger slip, There is so much to learn from all of these videos and always laughing you guys are awesome keep up the GREAT work Thanks from Colorado
If they they keep winding you, try rubbing some (elk chanel') scent glands on ya before heading out. If it doesn't work at least we will have fun watching the antics. Love watching the show- we are hooked. My wife has the theme song & elk bugles stuck in her head. Said it makes it hard for her to fall to sleep..and my 16 yr old son is practicing bugling all the time now....in the house. But hey- hopefully it will pay dividends next elk season. Keep up the good work. God bless
Finally got caught up on all the episodes. I must say having watched ALL of them in two days I was pleasantly surprized with your consistency. The videos have not been edited to show only the “good” points and have stayed realistic. But yea...that planter wart thing was...uhhh....nastage. Poor Emma, poor poor Emma. She is gunna need to be decontaminated! Anyway, my 13 yo daughter said your videos are fun to watch because you guys have fun and joke around while hunting.
You guys are doing awesome! Unfortunately the suspense will be drawn out for me due to leaving in the morning for our family's annual elk hunt. Already looking forward to binge watching your videos 12 days from now.
I thought this was a day by day the you pulled the rug off from under me at noon? what gives? Yer killin me, I can't wait that long for midday madness! And September is way too far away. Thanks for another great vid
You guys are so awesome and the content is amazing! Land of the free project is so amazing this far into. Can’t wait to see Montana as I am from Montana :)
Excellent video as always gentlemen. Been a fan for the last couple of years now, but this is some of your best stuff to date. Hoping this series comes out on DVD when it's all over?
I was happy to hear there was a river/stream there behind that 6 x 6 because if all that noise was wind your would have been blown away literally. Great video although the foot surgery wasn't very conducive as far as good material is concerned. Keep it up looking forward to the next EP.
Lovin' the series. I'm an old fart(58). So I'm not up on modern music. Your title song is catchy and I find myself humming it through the day. Who sings it and what's the name. It really sets the mood for the days action. Can't wait for the next 30+ days worth of running and gunning elkhornification!!! Big thumbs up!!!
Patients is the key! Good call on backing out and waiting. How much do you guys shoot and what is your effective range on an elk? Seemed like Trent considered 80 for a second.
Lovin this whole series, even got my 9 year old watching with me. Just curious, I know big bulls look cool and all, but why not drop a cow? Here in Idaho archery can get either. Going on my first archery Muley hunt this week, picking up tips each show, thanks.
Emma is welcome at my place...warts and all. That was another epic day on the hunt. Good call Trent, I can't imagine what 80 yards on pins look like. Again, I'll be sitting on the edge of my seat until tomorrow. Any tips on non-rut hunting? I mentioned it before but I'll be hunting with my brother in AZ next month and he says the rut is over. Late season scares me...
MrBowNaxe in our opinion late season should scare you. We would be lying to you if we told you exactly what to do. We know Bowhunting the rut inside and out. But Late season tactics that we have used on the Oregon coast that have worked are still hunting timber and glassing reprod. Good luck as I know none of what I’ve said help you in Arizona. 😬
You guys are awesome! This little series has been a ton of fun to watch. I have learned a ton about aggressiveness and not giving up even if you've been winded. How do you guys decide whether to cow call or bugle when you are locating, I see you use both techniques throughout the hunts so far. Also, I tried entering to win Emma, but it gives me an error when I click submit.. And even though you have this democratic way to find winners, you're giving it out on the 17th, which is my birthday, and it's the Wyoming knife, my home state and current residence!! Just saying!!! love it guys!
I almost forgot to breathe; damn Trent you can't catch a break. I just got more data on my phone, so i'm a happy camper. lol Keep the faith guys. God bless you all.
I have been meaning to ask you guys what do you do with the elk hides. Elk hides make great vests, jackets, wallets etc. I really hope they are not going to waste.
You guys are great. I never was interested in hunting till my son asked me about it and I didn't want some other man teaching my kids it should be a father and son experience so started watching RUclips on hunting and came across hushlife and have watch them ever since. Man alive! I am so pumped for Trent to arrow a bull it is as much fun as chasing bulls around hoping that magic moment happens!
Makes my whitetail deer hunts look like a backyard squirrel hunt. Awesome guys!
Randy Langford well come on over and try it out west.
Once again my kids are falling asleep to dreams of next September and elk bugling. The Coil family thanks you for this series.
I thought it was going to happen today! That bull just hung up. Can’t wait until tomorrows episode!
I usually skip through videos to the interesting parts. The thing about this series is that I haven’t skipped a single second. You guys are amazing. Keep trekking. 🦌 🏹 ⛰
Cameron Stornello we cannot tell you how much that means to us. Thank you so much for following along! You can count on us to keep it real.
Ok you guys owe me a new tv I just sent an arrow through it! Maybe I'm getting too into this series! Haha feels like I'm right there with you guys! Awesome!! 👍🇺🇸
My son loves watching you guys!

That is so awesome!! Thanks so much for the kind words.
Really enjoyed the adventure guys. Did not think i would ever enjoy watching a hunting show this much. Thanks
You saw the biggest bull of the series thus far. You are pairing up well with Dirk and the calling is really interesting. I loved the way he kept stepping on the screams of the bull, cutting him off. It seemed to peak his interest.
Take notes!! These guys are the real deal!!
That show was BIBLICAL! Great self control on not letting a arrow fly on a massive bull. Wow those 4ths on that thing.
"Girlfriends, there is no commitment." That needs to be on a shirt or coozy or something.. 😂😂
You guys should seriously have your own show. I look forward every day to watch the next episode. Thank you guys so much for takings us with you on your hunts. Awesome
dm house no lol tv shows suck youtube all the way
Ouch, those plantar warts hurt like mother!!! Come on Trent get that big boy...I'm pulling for ya.
Trent, keep wearing the "war paint" it's your thing and looks bad ass. love watching.
Was very happy to see Kody only had a planters wart that needed surgery in the field!
Planning my first bow hunt with a bow in late season Washington. Never hunted them and found your first of this series when I was watching elk videos. Happened to be actual first day of upload. View number 1 baby!!! Love you guys. Kids are running around house with the bugles driving wife crazy!!!!! Lmfao love elk life.
Josh Gurney love it!
Dirk is an amazing caller! Call with patience. Cow call, bull answers dont answer back. Curiosity will get him killed!
Best hunting TV out there guys. So fun to watch and learning a ton!
Man you have one heck of a go so far with these bulls!! I hope to see you stick one Trent. You have more than earned it!! I love getting a laugh with every episode!
One of my favorite parts of these series is the reaction you guys give when you hear a bull Crack off! Love it guys keep up the great work!
I have had a ton of plantars warts in the past and they are really painful when hiking/hunting. I shaved the skin buildup on them daily with a cheap razor and my Dr suggested using Duct Tape over the whole area. Change it every couple days for several weeks or a month. You guys are the highlight of the day. My wife watched yesterday’s episode and then got mad at me when I started today’s episode without her! Awesome videos!!!
I’m at 24 minutes in and this bull is a tank!!!! I’m fired up just watching it
Trent.......it's all about the face paint brother!!!!!
Love this series. I have learned a ton about elk hunting. Between this channel and Hushin. You guys are awesome
Are you guys going to use the song "wrecking ball" at any time!? Ha ha! Love your work, thanks again! Love the video of the elk stalking in the burnt timber, so awesome.

Awesome!! The camaraderie you guys have is what elk camp should be:) I would have passed on that shot too. See you tomorrow
Hey you knock the yoga thing but the trails crew I was on this summer would do a yoga sesh every morning before hiking and clearing trails... it was unbelievable how much it loosened me up all day, I was thinking it might transfer over to hunting camp as well but we will see!
Can't wait to see the Idaho content! I shot my first bull there with my bow so it's pretty special country to me and my dad.

Ok you need to get Dirk and Austin together and film it!
Anna Mae- Savages. Adding this to my pre-hunt get pumped playlist.

Charles Stasko yes I love the song I'm obsessed! Not sure what it's called though.
The song is 'Savages' by Anna Mae: soundcloud.com/annamae_music
“Lay with your ladies, biblical style” haha 😂 You guys are the hilarious!
Killer video ! What is it about the land you hunt that tells you, yes there are going to be elk here? Thanks !
It's that time of the day...thanks fellas!
Patients is the key! Good call on backing out and waiting. How much do you guys shoot and what is your effective range on an elk? Seemed like Trent considered 80 for a second.

Love the videos guys. This series is awesome... The only problem, I have watched all of your videos and now have to wait 24 hrs until the next one!
You guys are awesome! This little series has been a ton of fun to watch. I have learned a ton about aggressiveness and not giving up even if you've been winded.
