I have cleaned my trombone but it still gets stuck in 1st position. How can I get the gunk out from that spot?!
There may be a dent in your slide which is not something you can fix on your own.

@@biggestronald yup, there's the slightest dent on the outer slide about 4 inches from the U. Lines up with where the stickiness starts... Glad I have some machinist friends who can help tamp out the dent.
