Fun fact, when Gwen and Peter said, “I didn’t teach him that, and you definitely didn’t” they were not wrong, Miles learned if from Peter Parker from the beginning of the movie, when he fought the goblin, not the “lizard” or a “gargoyle” lol

Missing that that was the Goblin/Osborn is completely understandable if one hasn’t read the Ultimate comics, and isn’t familiar with the Goblin as such a literal physical monster. But yes that is the form the Goblin takes in the Ultimate universe as opposed to the guy in a costume on a glider in the 616 universe

The post credits scene hits like a brick for long-time comic fans. Spider-Man 2099, AKA Miguel O'Hara, is probably one of the most important characters in the Spider-Man mythos. Because he was among the first (probably the first) non-Peter Parker-related variants of Spider-Man in comics, debuting in 1992. He was just some scientist in 2099 who got into a lab accident and decided to honor the memory of the late Spider-Man by taking up the mantle. Miguel first proved that "anyone can wear the mask" and make it work. He was an instant hit when debuting in the comics. He's almost nothing like Peter Parker. He can be mean, brutal, rather violent, but he has a good heart and wants to help people at the end of the day.

there's a deleted bit with Olivia that would've shown her jumping into the giant portal during their battle. Funny you say that Peter should be a teacher, in the late 2000's/early 2010's, he was a science teacher for a bit.
Disk's right-hand man is Tombstone. He's albino, but his skin super durable. He's one of Spider-Man's lesser known villains, but his biggest appearance was on The Spectacular Spider-Man series, he was the Kingpin replacement, since the show couldn't use Fisk.
Also, Kevin Feige is secretly recruiting every cast member from this movie for the MCU.
    We have:
    Haliee Steinfeld - Kate Bishop/Spider-Gwen (Ghost-Spider)
Kathryn Hahn - Agatha Harkness/Doctor Octopus (Liv)
Bryan Tyree Henry - Jefferson Davis/Phastos
Mahershala Ali - Aaron Davis (Prowler)/Blade
    Oscar Isaac - Spider-Man 2099/Moon Knight
Just need to get Leiv Shrieber as Ben Grimm/The Thing or something.

Tombstone’s not a natural albino though, right? I believe his old school origin involves him growing up with Robbie Robertson (Daily Bugle’s Editor) before getting involved with crime. Then much later while in prison he underwent a very similar experiment to what was done to Luke Cage, but with the side effects of bleaching his skin and messing up his nose.

In the Ultimate Comics where Miles was introduced, Peter died fighting the sinister six in front of his house after being shot when he was just 16 and Miles witnessed his death and was so overrun with guilt that he decided to become Spider-Man. Also that “Lizard” creature was pretty much based on the Ultimate Green Goblin which looked more like a hulk like monster that also had fire powers.

I think nothing has topped Prowlers theme which the composer originally was trying to make it a generic scary theme but decided to put an elephant's trumpeting in it to make it more frightning which I feel worked out pretty well. Also the "We taught him that scene" between Peter and Gwen was Miles doing the same action his world Peter did earlier in the movie with the collider.
