Thank you so much, Curtis! I was trying to finish embroidering names on towels for my granddaughter. I managed to do something while I was cleaning and oiling the machine and the screen just froze! You saved my sanity!! And my granddaughter can take the towels home with her tomorrow. Thanks again!
OMG....THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I was cleaning my machine & tapped the recal icon and then the dammed machine's touch screen wouldn't work correctly. Found your recal video and now I'm BACK IN BUSINESS!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Yes, I'm very thankful for your excellent GetMeOuttaTrouble video!!! Linda from North Dakota
Thank you, thank you so much. I was about to have a melt down. I thought I was going to have to haul my big girl into town to get her recalibrated. Found you and I’ve fixed it. Thanks again Curtis xx
I did this, and it worked for one change but then it stopped working again with the touchscreen showing me some stitching patterns, and no way to clear it and the eco button keeps coming on when I use the touch screen. What should I do?
Thank you SO SO much! I accidentally got into the screen calibration mode in the settings, and rather than go ahead and use my stylus to recalibrate, I pressed the home button instead, thinking that would take me back. Unfortunately, that wasn't the right thing to do, and I could no longer use my screen. Your short video saved the day. Thanks again!
Very helpful video. However, I have an older model Artista 170 that needed this procedure today and, thankfully, was able to get someone on the phone at a local Bernina store to walk me through it. It appears (I'm assuming) that the same two buttons are pushed down on any touchscreen Bernina and then you wait for the calibration prompts, which will be different depending on if you have a stylus...or not.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Took care of my problem very easily and quickly. I've subscribed to your channel in case I need more help in the future.
I have gotten a Bernina B-560 with a broken glass touchscreen. I am still able to see the display with the icons etc., but I cannot interact with it. Is there a way to fix this? Could I purchase somewhere a new touch screen and install it in the machine.
I attempted to recalibrate it following Cody's instructions but my machine wouldn't comply. I recently replaced my embroidery module with the new SDT module and my 570 had to be updated and I am wondering if this affected the ability to recalibrate the screen. Let me know if you try Cody's method and if it works. I also got the same advice from another 570 expert...
I am unable to recalibrate the screen on the 590CE. Instructions are not in the manual. nor is it the settings. Pressing the 2 buttons in and turning on does nothing. I have recalibrated the screens on my 770 and 880+AE but nothing happens on the 590CE
Not helping to my machine, I have only two crosses on right top corner, on a bottom center , don’t have left upper corner😩screen is frozen! And NO helps from Bernina or Bernina dealer!
Please check to see if one of the buttons is stuck on the machine housing, I have seen this before. With your machine powered off, touch all your buttons one at a time to confirm that they have returned to the proper position. Especially the buttons by the needle like the foot lift, scissors, reverse.
Thank you, thank you so much Curtis, you are a life saver! I wasn’t looking forward to an hour drive each way to my nearest repair shop. Brilliant!

Can the 570 be recalibrated using this method?
Hi Susan, did you ever find out how to recalibrate your 570? Mine is having this issue, too

Same here, the screen's calibration is way off even after this
Thank you
Curtis, how do you do that for a Q20? Please.
Hi Curtis, I have B535 & it froze on me now. Do I or can I use the same method as your video to calibrate my B535?
Thanks for the info!
I have the 770 tula and now i have no screen or buttons that work
It's very helpful!!!
That didn't work for me it's still messed up. Is there anything else I can try?
And if that doesn’t help my B780, I need a new board.
Tnq soo much
Thanks a ton
You saved me 😀
