Speaking of the memorization of Quran. The best practice that you can do is you memorize at least 2, 3 or maybe 5 ayat of any surah that you find easy. And then read that it in salah. And trust it really works. And I am speaking that from my experience. I had a problem in memorizing the last ayahs of Surah Al Rehman. Now I have fully memorized Surah Al-Rehman. And I can recite it properly without any mistakes. Alhamdullilah.
